For real. Finally a glimpse of hope for the future of the industry. I thought that one day I'll just get bored of playing video games forever but this game makes me reconsider
Born in 82. This is the kind of game I've been waiting for a looooooong time. Played StarCraft1 and Brood War like crazy in the 90's and a BIG fan of Paul Verhoeven's StarShip Trooper. I'm buying every bit of content of this game to support the dev.
This brought me back too. I was losing hope. I bought suicide squad the day before this dropped and was disappointed. Took a chance and this breathed new life 😅
We must be nostalgic when not on the battlefield in order to yearn for our next battle to protect super earth from the automatons and termanids. Every minute not fought is a minute I think about fighting. WE MUST CONTINUE TO SPREAD DEMOCRACY
Thanks for being one of the first to upload this. Don’t own the game yet, so I wanted ask if there are different themes and intensities for the bugs and Cyborgs, like with the first game. Been looking for em’.
There is but there's too many variations. I'll try to collect them but I'm barely scraping the bugs. And that doesn't even include if there's variations of music per difficulty
After doing testing. I can safely confirm there is no noticeable music variations between the difficulties. Shame. Maybe there is slight additional instruments? But it sounds very similar unlike the first game. Maybe I was paying too much attention to not die but yeah I can't tell.
@@TheHigherHigher lol Super Earth commemorates your sacrifice(s), soldier. Do the themes for the bugs and cyborgs match the epic tone of the first game on difficulty 5 and up? Or are they watered down?
@zhrisbooks8315 no you can fight like 2 bugs and it'll still have like an epic soundtrack. Personally I think the robots have the best soundtrack. I can't wait to post those later but in the meantime you can using to the death themes in my recent upload
It feels like im waiting for the afk guy to finish making his loadout, sometimes I like to think hes just crafting the ultimate loadout pulling a tony stark or something and thats why it takes so long.

hey Higher, thank you for uploading this.
the person who composed this soundtrack is "Wilbert Roget, II". Would you mind adding to the description?

**CONSTANT PIN SOUND EFFECT**
HERE? WHAT'BOUT HERE?

Music is in 5/4 and has no right being this good, kuddos to the composer.
'Here?'
'Maybe here?'

“How about here?”
Alright fine
"What about here?"
I know the tone of the game is satirical, but the music sounds so heroic like these guys are able to take on their enemies.
Technically they are… one death at a time 😂
@@Sporemastercreator😂
Its to contrast, on trailers, on menu select and something, you are the hero and everything is great
When you on mission, the war terror begin
To be fr, helldivers are actually winning in kill counts by 1 helldiver to 30 bugs or bots
I love how the theme gets progressively more badass all the way into the launch itself
It’s that buildup that really makes you feel like you’re planning out a badass mission
This game brought me back to gaming

This is the biggest breathe of fresh air. Literally micro transactions are truly optional, and everything can be fairly earned in game.

3:44 when those French horns come in, i get chills
I fkin love French horns. Ever since Beauty and the Beast (90's) I've been in love with them.
I love French Horns too, but I'm not sure those are the Woodwind's Brass. They sound a bit harsh for French Horns.
Perhaps Baritones? Or Trombones?
We didn’t have a great soundtrack like that for a while, so epic
how do i have nostalgia already?
i feel nostalgic watching your videos.

Lol fancy seeing you in here, please tell me you already have a 'Donald Trump plays Helldivers' video 😂
“MAY WE DISPERSE THE LIGHT OF LIBERTY EVERYWHERE”
Love the 40k allusions in this game. Super Earth feels a bit like a predecessor to Holy Terra and the Imperium!
How about a cup of liber-tea?!
Here? What about here? Here!? here!
Hellpod launch suspended.
Sounds so wierd without the foot pedals clicking in

@@TheHigherHighershame I thought it was like the first game, cyborg highest difficulty music was awesome.
The beginning tune that goes to 0:07 is just PERFECTION 👌🏿
"What about here?"
FORRRR SUPERRRR EAAAAAARRRTHHHH!!!!!
This is the music that I play when I have to be at the lab during the night and I need some music to keep me going through my experiments
Hype level 11 as I ponder what stratagems to dish our freedom with.

This song reminds me of a song in a game called Star Fox. An astroid belt level.
"Here?"
Allied destroyer has joined the squadron
Ah yes the “I should’ve never picked this loadout” song
Here?
me and bro 1 min before exam
This one really gets me going
