Hold schd and a schg option long the liquity isnt that great so when youre deep in the money on schg or your a month or so from expiry sell schd to exercuse the schg option(unluss the liquity on schg is good then just sell the cintract) rinse and repeat use tge profit to build up schd schg options are so cheap now since the split so the risk isnt as crazy as before

Everything about it feels just a little more wise to me. PLEASE don’t hear me saying qqqm is not a wise purchase too. I think it is. But I overall just love the figures I see with SCHG and it makes me want to put my money in it. Fantastic returns too. Can’t go wrong with it.

I have most in VOO but I own half and half between SCHG and QQQM. SCHG has grown more though over the last 5 or so years if you look back at the charts. VOO and QQQM though are two of my faves hands down.
For a Growth ETF portfolio I currently have: - SCHG 45% - FTEC 45 % - TQQQ 10% What do you think? I added the leveraged ETF TQQQ just to boost up returns. And I chose FTEC instead of VGT and QQQM because its cheaper and have similar or even better performance.

Hey there! I do definitely think this is a great entrance point and I would (and am!) definitely be dollar cost averaging it this year as you said it may drop a bit but I wouldn’t be waiting for that dip, we are already in it!!
what do you think of NASDAQ 100 ETF's. I think it gave CAGR over 21% return last 10 years.. Once bear market is over, it might be a great ETF (nasdaq 100).

That’s a great question but tough for me to accurately answer so for me I’m just going pretty much 1/3 in each. When growth companies start skyrocketing again I may go 20% SCHG, 30% VOO, 50% SCHD, but for now I’m at 1/3 each

@@samhdz5347 Only difference between VOO and VTI is exposure to small and mid size companies .Its still US economy based so when the Bear leaves the Bull is bound to run in.Then we will all get our gains . Just gotta have a long term horizon on these investments. to see rewards

It really is good for real. It’s so hard to beat the s&p 500 and if you are normally busy person id say you’re in the clear with that setup!
congrats but it's a long term holding until you are 60, so 2 months literally means nothing.

I’m doing the exact same! Except that I’m in Canada and I would get taxed on SCHD’s dividends so I replaced it with XDIV.
Have about 10% of schg in my rollover for now and I'm trying to reach it at 20% and work on something else so I keep that versatility in my portfolio.

QQQM, VGT, SCHD, and VOO. I don’t see a need for SCHG if i have the better performing growth etf’s.

As far as return you are correct but the fee is 5x more expensive which crushes the value long term
