Then you get the error that the phone is not compatible with the app. I think this is the problem that some people are having in the comments. Solution: Do NOT install the watch app on your phone, but download the apk from Drive and then transfer it to the watch via the app as explained.

Ugh. It is still not working for me. I just received my watch yesterday, Samsung galaxy 6, and I’ve got a pixel 7 cell phone. Not even sure at this point what I’m doing wrong. No sense in keeping the watch if I cannot use the ecg health monitor, this is one of the main reasons why I went with this one. So frustrated. I’ve been trying to get this to work for over 2 hours now, at this point it is causing me way too much anxiety

Tried for 1.5 hrs with no success. I couldn't enter the watch settings without being paired to a Samsung phone (not mine as I don't have one). Having paired to a Samsung phone I was able to open settings and enable debugging but still unable to complete the setup on my Redmi Note 12. Gemini could not find the watch . I think you should have started from scratch with your video rather than having already installed and paired everything. Many steps missing IMO. When watch connected to Samsung phone I'm getting "Transfer watch to this phone" but The phone says It needs to be signed in to same google account but no way to change google a/c. "reset to remove all data" If I reset I cannot get enter the watch at all.

I had that problem, I had my hot-spot on and tha5 affected it. I turned my phone off, started it again and it downloaded. I had to tick install from unknown sources aswell

I struggled with installing it the first time round, but eventually it worked. Then probably some software update happened during the night and these two apps were gone on my phone. Not without struggle again I managed to install both apps on the watch, however the phone app says it doesn't see the watch and the app on the phone for measuring blood pressure kicks me out 1 second after I click on it. There are also plenty of files in those folders, and for a not that savvy digital person it's hard to understand which one is the correct one. Any advice, I'd be more than grateful.
I'm failing at 1:05 . Installation of Watch SHM MOD... was not possible. My phone OnePlus 9 Pro says it is not compatible :( All other steps worked fine - just useless without SHM on the phone

Yes I do say it wrong, thanks for pointing that out. You are right Watch app is the one you use adb debugging to install on the watch not the phone.

Doesn't work for Pixel 6a and Galaxy Watch7 for some reason - the first APK itself said "This app cannot be installed" :(

Do you have to leave adb debugging on after everything is set up?
No its best to turn it off once you have set it up.

I've got a samsung watch and the feature is still disabled , been that way for a few regions. Have to work through the same way.
