The color picker does to work like that for me. It will only pick up color from my desktop screen. No other images outside of affinity other than the desktop. ?????
Have you given affinity designer all the authorization it needs & have you opened affinity designer in a small window next to the image?

how to open 2 preview windows using 1 document ?
What do you mean exactly with "preview windows"? If you mean artboards - simply use the artboard tool in the toolbar (second one from the top) or when creating a new document tick "create artboard" and duplicate from the layers tab and then move in your document. Hope that helped.
@@UpskillGD i mean 2 windows using 1 document like on adobe ilustrator, so i can use it as preview window on my second screen
afaik you can only open 2 documents in 2 separate windows but if you want multiple windows out of one document its not possible - you are only able to create multiple artboards within one document
