    11 years ago on my next to last merchant marine ship i was in Charleston S.C talking to a recently medically retired USMC kid of 21 years. He weighed 98 pounds, tough as nails, helluva nice guy but was sent home early because the core demanded he hump a pack that weighed 135 pounds. That's uphill, downhill, over rocky terrain, in water, you name the obstacle & he had to overcome it. His body said 'Fuck You' and quit on him. Multiple surgeries later he and i were chewing the fat and i asked him after he told me all of the above why he was here. He said he was sticking around long enough to buy a red convertible sports car so he could go to college and get laid.
    I couldn't talk him out of it for the next 2 months. Nothing else mattered to this kid. To me--that's Carson Beck in a nutshell.
    Nothing else matters but a fast car and a hot piece of ass to a kid under 25. I'm sure guilty of that mindset too!!! Go Dawgs.🏈🏈

I literally could keep going on and on, Stetson Bennett reap the benefits of having one of the greatest rosters that Georgia has ever produced.. in people need to stop living in the past and stop thinking about the 2021 through 2022 defense because here's a little bit of eye-opening fact, we might not ever have a defense that dominant again, that was one of the most dominant defenses in the last 20 years of college football, they need to realize that by normal standards last season's team, the defense was pretty damn good, and if you would have told me that we would have had numerous injuries on the offensive line, numerous injuries in the running back roster, playing the hardest schedule in college football and still won 11 games, the SEC Championship, and made it to the college football playoffs I would have told you that you're crazy, it's an absolute amazing feat that this season's team was able to accomplish what they did, people need to stop acting like they're so entitled and this whole narrative that everyone tries to create where it's either national title or your whole program is going downhill and is trash is absolutely stupid, you need to realize that the transfer portal and nil has changed everything and there is going to be harder and harder for teams to go undefeated, it's also going to be harder for the same teams to keep winning championships.. just face the facts

    Humming? 10 points against ND. The team did pick up against Texas but I would not say that the offense was humming against Texas. You guys dance around the problem with UGA and the offense. There is a common denominator that is a relic from the CMR era that is dragging this offense down. Until that is corrected UGA is back to good but not great status.

      You clearly must not listen to what anybody was even talking about when he was talking about the offense humming when Gunner Stockton came in he was talking about the SEC Championship not the game versus Notre dame, clearly in the SEC Championship in the first half Carson couldn't do a damn thing Georgia as a whole only had 56 yards and when Gunner Stockton came in in the second half the whole entire team lit up suddenly those receivers that were dropping passes were catching passes for gunner, people can say whatever they want but if Gunner does not come in that SEC Championship game I don't think Georgia comes back and wins with Carson Beck

      @@Neanderthal24 Bobo is the OC. He is responsible for the Entire Offense. He is responsible for the coaches under him. It his job to not only game plan but to make sure the Offense and his coaches are doing what he wants done. If you had been around for the CMR era you would see that nothing has changed with a Mike Bobo coached offense. Unimaginative, predictable is the Mike Bobo Offense. Scoring points against teams like "Our Sisters of the Poor", which the team did not do so well this year, doesn't get it done in crunch time when National Titles are on the line.

    Missing in targets.? Don’t say Mateer cause the world knew he was following his OC. And don’t say the kid from Cal cause Miami wouldn’t commit to him unless he was the LAST option, which he wasn’t.
    The problem with speaking so definitive saying Beck would’ve been ran out of Georgia, is it makes you look like fools if the situations don’t pan out.
    When the real CFB fans call you out around the watering hole, the halftime fans will follow, thus resulting in the loss of your credibility.

    No, Carson Beck didn't do very well while at UGA. He did good when he had talent like Brock Bowers and Ladd McConkey to throw to. Once they left, Beck played like garbage. Yeah, i know the offensive line was bad, and receivers drop passes, but Beck NEVER brought any kind of energy or emotions to the game. Sometimes, I wondered if he even had a pulse. Nit to mention the like 4 game stretch where he averaged like 4 ints per game. Im glad he is gone. Ever since he became a starter, our offense wouldn't show up until after halftime, and we had to claw back to get the win. It hurt us against Bama and Ole Miss for sure. I wish him the best at Miami and on his future, but it was time for a change. Watch Beck come out next year and win a Heisman and make me look like a idiot

    • @JamesBond-zd5jx
      @JamesBond-zd5jx 13 дней назад +2

      He led the SEC in TDs this year. And some of the INTs were off deflected passes off the hands of some awful receivers. Had they caught all those drops he would have had 665 more yards and that does not include any yards after the catch. With better receivers he would have had 800-1000 yards more receiving, 4-6 more TDs, and 4 less interceptions. He holds 2 of the best 5 statistical seasons in Georgia history. He started every game in an SEC championship season. He was 24-3 as a starter. I think that’s a pretty good set of accomplishments. And it’s a disservice to not recognize how important your non starters are to the overall success of a program because practice matters and growth in the practice field doesn’t happen without the 2s,3s, and 4s. So he definitely had a part in two national championships. All that being said, it’s a good move for both Beck and Georgia. Hope everyone does well.

      @americanmade1st755: so you said the only reason that Carson Beck had success last season is because he had McConkey and Bowers to throw to right? Then that shows your ignorance and it also shows that you clearly did not pay attention to Georgia football last year because Ladd missed the first six games with a back injury and he played sporadically the entire year so he was in and out of the lineup and clearly you don't remember Brock Bowers had to have surgery in the middle of the season on his ankle and a lot of people didn't even think he would come back at the end of the season.. and when Bowers did come back he was nowhere close to being 100% and guess what? Carson did just fine and had an outstanding season, do us all a favor and if you're not going to know what you're talking about just stop posting...
