Very cool. (yeah, I don't really have anything to say here)
Check out the stream here where I'll be tackling the elite boss & more: www.twitch.tv/btdisab
Wow, that was really cool
Hi isab first
Hey there isab
This the first comment
@@user-kt6ks3re5i I mean he made the video
Its always cool to see the struggle that even a master btd player gets when he first plays a new boss with no preparation.
Well, he WAS playing without MK
I'm new to the normal boss too
But I ended up beating it with ease
I think elite is the hardest part of the boss as normal is kinda a joke
@@superuniform6548 well its the easiest map in the game, remember that probably because of the stats of this boss it will be on even harder maps than other bosses
@@fafaello monkey meadow isn't the easiest map
Also on the "other" maps there's water so you can boat farm and flavoured trades are really helpful midgame bosses
@@cryolite08its logs
It's EACH shield that is half the hp, and since 4 shields x 0.5 = +2x hp, Dreadbloon's hp is tripled, so t5 has the same hp as Bloonarius
I thought it said the shield has half the HP of the damage level, not of the whole bar, but it did look much tankier in the video
It’s about 93.75% Bloonarius’ HP.
reminder that the shield layer also counts as ceram so stuff like artillery battery does like 5 damage per hit since it has bonus dmg to cerams and boss bloons
Also keep in mind the dreadbloon moves MUCH slower when it has the shield
Keep in mind that the dreadbloon also has lead properties guys
The Armored Beheamoth has arrived and I absolutely love the complexity of it
Not too complex honestly. Just need two major damage types each tier.
@@Bidens_Diaper That is already more complex than Vortex and Bloonarious. The bar is quite low lol
I like how he's drilling through the "core of the bloons"
well, foreshadowing, he's drilling on his way to Blastpopolous
Yeah and I’m scared of the blastpopolous
@@tristajager2551 In concept alone, it'll be the most difficult of the Monkey city bosses at least.
@@nameynamd9212 I never played much monkey city, could you enlighten me on how it worked there?
@@gengarisnotinsmash... it shot a fireball pretty often that stunned your most expensive tower and stunned it temporarily. other than that i don't remember much else. There is a bloons wiki you can look at to see more
@@gengarisnotinsmash... iirc, blast would basically perma-stun your most expensive, so it would effectively force to spam weaker stuff to take em out. I think the skull layers were like vortex's in 6, with a big aoe stun, and increasing stun rate more
This is such a gimmicky boss, but honestly that’s what makes it so great.

One of the easiest ways to kill the rock bloons is to use top path glue
I can attest to this, my only run on this boss was successful and I never had issues with the rock bloons because I had a bloon liquefier/bloon solver for them
Primaries are generally a good idea, since the first phase doesn’t spawn rock bloons so you don’t have to worry about immunity
Yup, in my elite run I did that for t1 2 and 3 lol
I went for a spike factory at the back, dont know if it actually worked though
life saver
I never noticed how much harder the early rounds are because I end up going for a bloon trap pretty early to get lots of money.
Good idea
Bloon trap plus rubber to gold is incredible if you don't want farms right away, but any towers that get money from bloons drop off in their money income the further the game goes on!
Yup, lead to gold by r26 into bloon trap into rubber to gold and free money and defense ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
imo that's nice that the boss requires you to have some diversity rather than boost 1 tower as hard as possible, but at the same time it's weaker than the rest, however rock bloons... literally overkill when speaking of their hp
I love how Dreadbloon pops out of the ground. Surprise!
This boss is easily going to be the finest boss ever
You know, I liked the theme of the custom Bloon rounds for Dreadbloon. It reminds me of one of the tile types in BMC; Hard and Heavy where lead and ceramics appear earlier and more frequent. Not to mention that fortified being common.
The most significant changes to the rounds from what I've seen are:
- Leads and ceramics become fortified
- Zebras become leads
- Rainbows become ceramics
- Round 46 has a fortified MOAB instead of fortified ceramics
Full list:
All Leads and Ceramics become Fortified
All Zebras are replaced with Leads
All Rainbows are replaced with Ceramics
Rounds 40+: Every other regular MOAB that spawns is fortified, starting on round 70 every MOAB is fortified.
Special Rounds
Round 39: 18 regular Rainbows → 12 Fortified Leads followed by 6 Ceramics
Round 40: Round replaced with 10 Fortified Leads (3-9s) and 8 Fortified Ceramics (14-19s)
Round 43: 10 Rainbows → 10 Fortified Leads
Round 46: Round replaced w/ 1 Fortified MOAB
Round 48: 40 Rainbows & 3 Fortified Ceramics → 20 Fortified Ceramics instead
Round 49: First 10 Rainbows → 10 Regrow Fortified Leads
Round 60: Round replaced with 3 Fortified MOABs (0-20s) sent w/ a constant stream of 40 Fortified Leads (split into two groups of 20 spawning from 1-9s and 11-19s)
Round 80: Round replaced, is identical to round 75.
@@jessiepatch Bloon Trap go BRRRR
@@yojojo3000 Also lead to gold go BRRRR
Now the only old boss that has yet to return is Blastapopoulos. After that, everything is original! Exciting to think about.
when i sat down and watched ISAB and then ISAB said "it's drilling time" and drilled all over the place i cried 0:01
Hmm, NK has specific indicators for lead and ceramic bloons now.
I wonder if the new expert map will have a lead/ceramic obly path, similar to how some maps have a moab only path?
Just wait till they add a lead/ceramic immunity filter on challenges…
I like how he said "it's drillin' time" and then proceeded to drill all over Dreadbloon.
Thank you ISAB for drillin' the bloons
Where did this come from and why is it so funny
@@solarvrgorillatag its like 7 months old at this point 😭😭
Its a over used meme and cringe
@@foldfoldfoldfold yea idk why i said funny i think i meant cringe lol

Never seen before: ISAB not uploading at a time that ruins your sleep schedule!
I like the concept and how different it is from the other bosses, actually got me hooked on this game again
I love the moment when he said "it's drilling time" and drilled all over the room
Truly the moment all of time
That's my favourite part 2
I think that the moabs become bosses with dreadbloon would be very interesting
Dreadbloon looks legit and unique
All of the boss bloons are like this.
I remember going against Dreadbloon years ago. I feel like I'm going insane watching everyone act like it's new
DB has 4 rock layers, each worth 50% of the max health. That would mean that DB has triple the health the boss bar shows, right?
"it's drilling time"
Although the rock bloons says they can't be instakilled, they can by lotn portal
Tips for you guys:
Get lead to gold early bc there are so many lead bloons.
Hey ISAB i found a cool glitch in BTD6 if you put the Bloon Master Alchemist on the magic damage increaser on One Two Tree he gets negative pops for each hit!
There’s another cool glitch I love where u put down banana farms and if u upgrade them enough u can get infinite cash after a while
Happened to me yesterday on cubism
Hmmmmmm, this boss definitely needs some buffs at mid-late stages of the game.
Thank you Isab for popping the bloons, as always 🗿👍
This boss is pretty interesting but seems pretty easy to beat compared to the others. Maybe it’ll be harder on difficult maps, we’ll have to wait and see
The boss is pretty slow, imagine it on harder maps with less space
Sauda was a brave and daring female monkey, skilled in the art of magical blades. She was renowned for her courage and strength, and held a special place in the hearts of many.
One day, while on a quest to save a village from a dark force, Sauda came across a strange sight. In the distance, she saw a giant flying fortress called ISAB, also known as "a BIG plane". It was incredibly imposing and seemed to be flying in a mysterious pattern, as if searching for something.
Sauda was curious and decided to investigate. As she approached the plane, she was surprised to find a friendly voice emanating from it. It was ISAB, and it welcomed her aboard.
Sauda was amazed to find that the plane was alive, and it asked her to come inside. Once inside, she found the plane to be incredibly comfortable, with plush couches and luxurious decorations.
ISAB told her that he had been searching for someone like her, and that he was lonely. Sauda couldn't help but feel a connection with the plane, and soon enough, the two of them had become close friends.
They talked for hours on end, and Sauda found herself opening up to ISAB in ways she hadn't before. It was like they were two old friends catching up after a long separation.
Although they had only just met, it felt like they had known each other for a lifetime. Eventually, their friendship blossomed into something more, and the two of them developed a deep and romantic bond.
Sauda and ISAB spent many days in each other's company, exploring the skies and discovering new places. With each adventure, their love for each other grew stronger and stronger, until one day, they decided to make their bond official.
They exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony and were wed in the sky, surrounded by the stars. ISAB and Sauda lived happily ever after, exploring the skies together in their giant flying fortress, ISAB.
DB, in one skull, managed to completely incapacitate all of my defenses. good for him, honestly
Can't wait for the "Thanks for popping the bloons ISAB" comment. That joke never ever gets old.
I like how rock bloons are being a bigger pain than the boss itself
One thing I noticed is how the bosses sorta represent the elements- Dreadbloon is earth, Bloonarious is water, Vortex is air, and Blastpopoules is fire
.
I really really enjoy the play style of this boss!
I love that they are adding bosses from monkey city
I definitely agree the damage resistance should increase with tiers
I found lead to gold to be pretty good in this boss
Thank you ISAB for dreading the bloons
Dreadbloon when i have two paragons:
Ironically boomerang paragon is great because dreadbloon stays in range the whole time lol
Due to how slow Dreadbloon moves, it is easy to get defeated by going over the 20 round limit between ranks. If you do, you get the option to restart from your last checkpoint, but it checkpoints you at the next tier's round. If you can defeat Dreadbloon in that single round, you glitch it out and essentially skip the entire next tier because you are past the round where the tier normally spawns.
I ended up doing this by accident during my elite run, and skipped tier 4 entirely.
The same thing happened to me in my first elite run, except I was nowhere near popping Dreadbloon in that single round, and when I tried to continue, it kept restarting me at that same round, essentially softlocking me.
Dreadbloon is slow enough to not worry about popping it AT ALL until the end and the rocks spawn at the beginning, not at the boss.
Farm away.
Thank you ISAB for popping the boss bloons
"wait the rock bloons dont have lead properties i think"
me who used a recursive cluster (dont ask me what i was doing) to deal with them: *what*
Tbh you make my day happy thank you
Best way to kill rock bloons?
Super Monkey Storm. OMEGALUL

This was a fun boss! The rock bloons are pretty nuts early game though...
the concept of the boss is really interesting but i think it could be pushed event further
first off making it much faster. we can see that even with no preparation, it cannot go further than 10-15% of the track
then maybe have a special hitbox where the drill part of the boss have the same properties as the vortex shield (reflecting everything but couple towers)
my favorite part was when he said "it's mining time!" and mined off all the armor in the room
Shut up the meme is dead
Thank you ISAB, for beating the new boss
for tiers one and two i used the elite defender and the tack zone and it works pretty swell
I love it when the Dreadbloon said "It's Drillin' time" and drilled all over the monkeys
😏
I tried to beat the boss like 5 times, and every single time I failed, I got up to the last tier. So I came here to see what you did and just…dang dude. I need to use more military monkeys, I’m reliant on my ships and subs, so without water this is an absolute nightmare
Thank you, Isab, for popping the
Armored Behemoth, Dreadbloon
The first time I played, I did fairly well on the first level of Dreadbloon until it started sending the dang rock bloons and I just died 😭. I had similar towers down but I also had a middle path Dartling gunner, I ended up doing something completely different starting round 43.
I remember this boss from bmc. All you had to do is spam depleted bloontonium dart minigunners
I beat this one on my first attempt, although it was painful and I made several mistakes that almost had me reset a few times.
I'll still have to learn the exact mechanics by heart.
honestly i love the UI for health/shield and modifiers, i don't know if it's new or not cause I don't play bosses but it's cool, not just a boring health bar
Isab finally used himself to defeat a boss
Another day where isab pops the bloons
It was fun to play this boss blind and beat it first try but reallt scuffed lol same as ur doing here i got a boomerang paragon for tier 4 and a tier 25 or 24 did really well (when the immune thingy went away) and for tier 5 i got an tier 54 ace (dont have Geraldo) and a tier 3 boomerang that did the trick really well if u play ur cards right this boss is easy
tier 1 has 25600 hp if we combine the rock bloons and the shield and his hp so he's the strongest or much more if you don't kill the rock layer
I really liked dreadbloon, thanks NK for 33 free content updates and counting!!!!
this boss is pretty cool though blastapopolous is my favorite boss from btd5
I used overdrive and full auto sniper for 1 star then used dart and engi paragon + random t5s for 5star
Thank you Isab for popping he Dreadbloon
I usually use a 4-2-0 or 5-0-2 glue gunner to get rid of the rock bloons
and since dreadbloon is so slow that even bloonarius can beat it in a race
and it is a must to have 2 paragons of different categories to deal with the immunities
Would be fun to see some speedruns black border from a new account! But Nice vid as always!
Indeed very cool
I used 024 dart for rock bloons. It seemd to do the trick, as it does a lot of damage.
The biggest problem i had was getting enough money for Paragons lol as well as pure damage and popping the T5 Rock Bloons as they're extrremely beefy
Tip: Use carpet bombs after the military phase is done and then u can skip 1/2 phases
Sticky bomb elite Defender is probably cheapest defense but it dies to rock bloons
seeing a new boss on btd6 it makes me wonder how the hell does the bloons "society" work
are boss blons like generals/commanders or some entities that are considered gods
btd6 lore is something i never expected to wonder about
They should do one damage OR 25% percent whatever is higher
After all these years
Bloonarius Dreadbloon Vortex
Finally I have them all.
I agree that the armor should be more impactful as the tiers scale, because it doesn't keep up with the player getting more debuffs. I like the overall boss design of encouraging a more mixed defense, though.
i love his mechanics, its my favorite boss cuz it makes you have more than one strong tower
also how will blastapopulous be in this game?
and how will future bosses be?
Most likely it will be but it may not come very soon, we will have to see how they will be when released but u can play bloons monkey city to see how Most are cause that's where most of the bosses came from
I think it would be hell if the elite mode immunity becomes full imunity against x
An isab upload at an earthly time!?!?
Cluster bomb is a good defense against the rock bloons, worked for me
This guy was always my favorite boss. :)
how is this man so good at placing funny monkey on a map to pop funny balloon
As a new bloons td 6 player this is the first tier 5 boss ive beat and its very fun
the rock bloons are Fucking Annoying. the rock bloons having a “strong taunt” is such a sick mechanic trying to target down the boss to deplete its rock layer was very difficult this boss is great
Not a bad boss slight challenge to pop and can easily catch you off guard with the rock bloons.
I went alch + 3-2-0 village buff overdrive + ark spike then bought tack zone for tier one, was pretty good
I didn’t even notice the rock Bloons lol
turbo charge is really good for rock bloons
To me it seemed that the rock balloons get the same tower immunity as the boss so I would keep both a 204 sniper and tack shooter then later upgrade them into 205 to keep the pebbles dealt with + good boss damage
I did some testing in sandbox and it seems that elite defender plus alch buff or tack zone plus alch buff seems like the best way for rock bloons early game, tiers 3 and above you have so much damage you don't really need to worry. Also I did some real game testing and for me a few towers in different catergories work better than a bunch of weaker towers, so perhaps there kind of is a strategy?
Well, since it's rock layer activates 4 times every tier, and it has half of its full health every layer, that's the same hp as Bloonaruis, when both are at 5th tier.
