Warning (Achtung): 2 Mini Dinosaurs - Big one at the end. No Swimming!

Location: Mowbray River, Far North Queensland, Australia (-16.553705; 145.484424), Sep 2023.
Searching for Crocodiles (Crocodylus porosus) north of Cairns. Luckily, I found these two crocs without much trouble. 1st croc (~900 metres upstream) was about 2 metres. I couldn't get any closer without risking major signal loss through the heavy tree line; the 2nd croc was around 3 metres long.
Saltwater Crocs ('Salties') measure up to 6 metres in length and are very common in estaurine environments (where freshwater rivers/creeks/lagoons/swamps/etc., meet the ocean). www.australiangeographic.com....
