ROB!! Maybe is not an option, yes get out and ride again, and again. So great to see you on the bike, it looked like a beautiful day, it was perfect in AZ today. That Motoramblings Patrick guy has me looking at 360 cameras too. All smiles here seeing your video, happy holidays to you Rob. Take care
I love the 360 footage, and it does add to a video, especially on epic places. I won’t buy one though…. Too much extra effort to edit, and get right…. Just my opinion, Patrick
I was a nice day and great to get on the bike. The 360 camera is fun, but I have a lot to learn about positioning the camera and the extra editing will take me time to figure out. The camera I bought has the option for use with a single lens if the 360 stuff proves to be too frustrating. I'm glad to hear that the weather is good for you now. I hope you have a great Christmas.
Rob !!! - Very cool camera work indeed - I can barely operate 1 camera, let alone 2 HAHA... My GoPro died well over a year ago, however Just got a new one... Once I get it set up - look out !!! That said, DOC 650, VERBAL WIDGET and I always refer to "takin a spin" on THE MIGHTY SUZUKI DR 650 as "therapy" !!! When shit is going "sideways" and you get on the bike, and take a spin - even just around the block - it simply puts a smile on your face. Side note: I have the week off until the first - either you call me, or I'm gonna call you sometime this week... usually after 4 works best for me - but we gotta hook up brother !!!! Cheers, and hope you had a Merry Christmas !!!!
Thanks Dane! Clearly, I have a lot to learn about 360 cameras. Looking forward to seeing some more great OBI WAN videos and I have virtually nothing going on in the evenings so we should be able to connect.
I envy you being able to get out for a ride, even just a little. Looks like you had a good time riding and experimenting with those new camera angles. I'm stuck waiting for spring. At least I had time to install bar-end mirrors, swap the levers, and get ready to change the brake fluid, as it needs doing. Merry Christmas, and enjoy the rides for all of us stuck waiting 🥲
It has been a very mild winter so far, even by California standards. Sounds like you are keeping busy with improvements and maintenance. There is always something very satisfying about getting these tasks accomplished. Merry Christmas to you!
Awhhh, Rob! So sorry you went through a tough time and no riding! Glad you could get back out there and that it felt good for you!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🤗🤗💜💜🎅🏼🎅🏼🎄🎄Wishing you a blessed Christmas!
Thanks Jody. I am working on the 360 editing. It's fun but I'm not sure if I want to tackle the extra complexity regularly. A very Merry Christmas to you and Tommy.
Rob!!! Good to see you back on the bike! That new camera is very cool. Pretty soon you’ll be using a drone! Merry Christmas and cheers to many more rides in the new year!
Good to see you riding. Thanks for taking us along! You been ok? You allude to not being able to ride for a few weeks. Lemme know how you're doing. 360 footage looked good!
It was very nice to get out and ride and I was glad that I was comfortable on the bike. I have had some back issues that have made it difficult to do much of anything for a while but after multiple visits to various doctors and enough radiation to make Madame Curie proud, I seem to be headed in the right direction. I have a lot to learn about the 360 camera. Thanks!
Great to see you out on the bike again! I use my 360 One X2 for gimmick shots mostly, The picture quality isn't as good, but is fair. You can do some cool stuff and some really wild stuff as well. The invisible selfie stick thing is nice,. The camera wobble gets worse the longer you extend the pole (of course), but you can get shots that look like you had someone riding next to your recording or a crew, etc. It adds a little variety to a video. I'm not sure if they've improved or not, but the One X2 shuts off prematurely all the time. I've had three and all had the problem One of them did it in 2-3 minutes a lot of the time, which really sucked. The current one usually runs at least 10-14 minutes, but I miss good footage with it because of that (like half of Beartooth Pass from the top to Red Lodge).
@ I’m glad to hear you’re on the mend! I hope that what kept you down just keeps getting further into your rear view mirror, where it just keeps getting smaller!!
Glad you are back on!
It did feel good to ride. Thanks!

Glad to see you’re back on the bike! Sometimes it is just what the doctor ordered. Bike sounds so good, too. Ride safe and have a Merry Christmas!
Thanks! It was an early Christmas gift to be able to ride comfortably. Merry Christmas to you!
ANDREW !!! - THE YOU TUBE LEGEND !!!!!
@@pilotdane1 OBI-WAN! Good to see you. If I’m a legend, it’s because I disappear so long no one can remember if I’m real!
Great to see you out on the bike again!

Thanks! I'm still struggling with using 360 Studio. I have LOTS to learn.
I hope to see you out riding a lot now!!
That's the plan. Doctors are keeping me busy, but my ride yesterday was proof to myself that I can comfortably ride.

@@Motoramblings PATRICK !!! - Beautiful comment brother !!!!
@@pilotdane1 Awww, thanks! (I’ve been there…)
I'm sure you can learn how to edit with that 360!
