  • Video of Maestro Dentoy Revillar of SLD (Serrada/Largo Mano/Decuerdas) Escrima doing a demonstration of the Filipino Martial Arts at Master Carlito Bonjoc's Mata Sa Bagyo Gathering. Event was held at the Daguhoy Lodge in Stockton, CA in 2006. Video footage is from the personal archives of Dexter Labonog.

    Great introduction by Carlito. And great explanations by Dintoy Revillar. One of the most humble men I've ever met. Never went by titles of instructor or anything. Just a traditionoal family man that passes on is knowledge from one father/uncle to his kids. And God Bless Bobby Antuna, is flame still burns bright and he left a great legacy.

    really wonderful stuff. Did a YT search for Dentoy because of Bruce Ogle. Bruce is my Kali instructor's instructor. Glad I found this video, really enjoyed.

    Too emphasize the footwork of getting his legs out of the way as he controls his opponent's stick moving from weak side back to strong side.
