- Hey guys! Today I'm doing a video idea that i came up with in my recent "shop with ME" video. I threw out this idea to customize picture frames and then create a "photo" by painting my original characters in different fun poses. I thought it was kind of a lame idea, but surprisingly so many of you wanted to see me do this 😂 SO. I am here to "paint photos" and customize picture frames to make some very unique DIY room decor for my art studio. Hopefully you guys enjoy this!

Hey! my name is Moriah (pronounced muh-rye-yuh 😂 ) and this is my channel....obviously. I'm 26 and like doing anything creative...and being snarky.....just a lil. I make a lot of decorating, painting and general art videos here. I'm obsessed with editing and adding lil bits to my videos, so if that's not your thing....oof you may hate this haha. I paint on squishies, thrift store finds, and other random things I pick up. I also love to draw, but don't expect anything too skilled, I'm not the best at that haha. You will also find occasional crafting/testing crafting kits on my channel which are always a hot mess. And even some baking (REALLY bad at that, but it's fun to try LOL).

Here's a tip for when your gesso gets stuck: if the lid of your paints get stuck, hit the lid really hard with something like a screwdriver all around the lid. It helps to break up the paint.

I would really love for you to do a part 2 if you want. This was actually such an amazing video and the pictures are so cute and creative. I really like how you gave each picture a backstory. That made it feel like each character actually took those pictures and I love that.

I actually have one more thing I want to mention. You painted a rock to look like an owl and the color scheme reminded me of a mango. I really liked it and thought it could be a cool character. I also remember seeing an owl squishie at one point. If you still have that squishie, could you paint it to look like the mango owl you did before? I'm having a strange obsession over it

I like this so much and I like all the creativity you put into your characters!
With watercolor clouds, sometimes using a paper towel to dab off some of the color can help make them look better(it’s a legit technique lol)
Also for cheap thin paint if you add I believe cornstarch to the paint it makes it thicker

I think another good idea for a fauxto would be the snow winter bears on a family ski trip taking a family photo
