As a kenyan who has lived in Kampala for 12 years, i am surprised the cost of living is kinda of going down in Kenya, compared to the neighbouring countries. 10usd of electricity units to last you a month? Wow. I usually spend around 30 usd in a month in Uganda. And those rooms at less than 150usd is very fair.
Great content! Thank you for visiting us! Tsavo Thindigua along Kiambu Road is a gem for sure, a great place to live, and work, very safe, clean and convenient and most of all very affordable. I have been a resident since 2020, and also became a host(short lets) to many local and international guests and have also helped in the transitioning process from guests to investors (purchase of the apartment units) and some becoming tenants. I call it Nairobi's hidden gem because of its location a stone throw away from the bustle and hustle of the city, very serene... Karibu tena!

Prices have really come down and they will get even lower, because the government has a huge Affordable Housing Program that will lower demand in Private Housing, therefore taking the prices even lower.
