There lies the problem he didn't really do anything bad to her prior to her death and even if he was the one that killed her she was the one that started it and attempted to kill him he was fighting in self defense there and was left no other option he either died there to the devil or kill her you can even see it afterwards he was tearing up knowing he didn't want to but had no other option

When you think about it, Heihachi started this familial chaos over his desire for power. He murked his dad to take over his company, merked his wife because she had to assassinate him to protect the world, tried to merk his son Kazuya multiple times (which activated the Devil Gene), tried to take the Devil Gene from his grandson Jin, adopted a new son Lee to use a puppet ceo for his company, had multiple kids just to see if he had the Devil Gene, and replaced his familial bonds with a bear who he taught karate. Dude has gone mad with power at this point.
Heihachi was not only my main since Tekken 1. He Jin and King are the only ones i ever cared to learn. The end of Tekken 7 brought a tear to my eye knowing it was the end of his story.
Heihachi is a badass character. A Legend. Every though he was evil, he was still a good character to play as. Even in his mid 70s he could still fight. RIP Heihachi Mishima your legacy is still alive.

It always cracks me up the fact that Heihachi loved Kuma way above his own children to the point that he even raised Kuma's cub and taught him martial arts 😂 the man is a piece of shit, but at least he got a heart for the animals

The guy stole his dad's company, chained Jinpachi under the dojo to starve to death, abused Kazuya and threw him off a cliff and in Tekken 2 threw him into a volcano, used Jin to lure Ogre out then tried to kill him after Jin killed Ogre and so on. I don't buy 7's "Heihachi hated the Devil Gene and was a loving family man before Kazumi tried to kill him" retcons.
Keep in mind that Heihachi’s still indirectly responsible for the world threatening situation thanks to abusing both Kazuya and Jin which resulted in their devil genes to awaken. It is Heihachi who put the whole world in danger in the first place thanks to starting the Mishima blood feud that soon escalated into a full-blown war that Jin started.
Yeah he seems like an end of the games lifespan or support send off to generate hype one last time. Granted that would be many years away but I agree. The amount of hype he would bring is unmatched. Despite Harada saying he’s “dead dead”.

@@Aoki3997 As suggested in my previous comment on this thread, he can and likely will make an appearence in the next mainline installment in the same vain as Kazumi (Whom made a playable appearence in Tekken 7 despite canonically being dead prior to even the first tournament).
The thing I've always found funny about heihachi is that all the actions he did to prevent the devil gene (Throwing Kaz of a cliff, shooting jin in the head) are what lead to the devil gene activating in both of them... talk about irony lol
In tekken 8 the Mishima dojo has Mishimas all over the place as warriors dealing with dragons and demons on there way there also monk’s in the time before the iron king fist tournament became a thing

Baki is him at 15-16 being hunted down by death row prisoners for the fun of it. And Baki Hanma is when he’s 18-19, having some pretty strong daddy issues when your father is still considered “the strongest creature on the planet”. I don’t wish to spoil too much as it’s pretty easy to get into the show (even without Baki the grappler) But I thought I’d give the ages of where he’s at for a rough timeline. I hope you enjoy diving down the Baki rabbit hole if you do 😁.

Heihachi was a great character all around. The fact that he wasn't always the antagonist/final boss of every game, really helped flesh him out more.
