I don;t see how anyone can watch the whole thing. It is NOT an encouraging movie that I thought it was. It is very depressing! Isn't there a better way to get the msg acrross?
Exactly. It still amazes me how seldom childhood trauma is addressed in movies like that. But it´s easier to call it a disease than look at multi-generational trauma.

It's like a documentary on depression.
I've seen it before, but watched it again. It's a good movie, but it has a lot of crying in it.
I knew a woman like Amy,she was called Maria.She's dead now,I don't know how she died.Never ever ever ever ever give up.
A new relationship or love does not fix anything…especially if you are not equally yolked. Plus innocent children in the middle. 😔

It's showing the reality of what people go thru. A lot of it stems from self hatred, which is a prison.
