You are basically an MLM yourself. You want people to watch the over 200 videos you brag about posting, and you want people to subscribe and like, and SHARE your page and videos. The more likes and subscribers you have.....the more FINANCIAL GAINS you have. 💥💥you are doing exactly what you are telling everyone not to do💥💥 you are asking for more likes and followers for your page & videos.......which is only for you monetary gain. That puts you at the top of this MLM you have created

I'm dropping this here in the hopes that you'll see it: Since the pediatrician is based in the US, we can report the unproven health claims as fraud to the US Federal Trade Commission at reportfraud[DOT]ftc[DOT]gov. You click "Report Fraud" and select the appropriate categories under Health.

My assumption on hearing the story was that he was probably a lot like my neighbor who has dementia. Her daughter has been living with her and taking care of her and has no fear of leaving her alone for short periods of time while she's outside working on projects because her mom just sits or lays there and doesn't try to do anything on her own. If these products gave grandpa physical energy but didn't help him mentally, that's not a great thing, but they may see it that way just because normally he may just be laying around. That was my first thought.

We are just north of Arkansas, so one of the providers there may have contacts or more knowledge of Arkansas medical provider regulations and such. Regardless of the country, an actual medical provider doing what he is doing is beyond unethical and shows that they aren’t using best practices. He needs to be reported straight away.

Imo the ideal option would be for him to quit Amare & keep practicing medicine (supposing he's any good, although he said Amare was "supported by studies" in one vid I sent to the Board, so maybe not). Point being, with his full name, you can easily file a complaint too!

Agreed! I'm an adult with ADHD and have been bombarded with stuff throughout my life that it's just bad parenting or a moral failing on my part, or that I just need to change my diet, etc, but meds are necessary and life changing for me to be a functional adult. The Adderall shortage was horrible. I performed so poorly at work I was at the max number of attendance points before firing, my grades tanked, and I got behind on all my bills. I switched to Straterra a month ago since I've had a year of inconsistent access to Adderall, and I'm finally back on track. It's not quite the same, but it's giving my brain what it needs to function

Families of people of either situation are often lost and isolated and can be constantly looking for solutions and supports. Shame on this man for not only exploiting children, but parents as well. Especially if they have a vehicle. They have moments where they are fully cognitive and can think clearly, but there's no telling how long that clarity will last. It can be very dangerous for themselves and others around them. That's not ok. And usually my client's family members will put black rugs in front of doors that lead to outside so the client does not wander off. But those medications are evidence based and FDA checked. I am outside US and our Dr's have nothing to gain from prescribing one med over another, actually the pressure is to go for the cheapest (generic) version, and have to justify if prescribe an expensive med. OK there is still enough incentive for pharma to sponsor continuing education courses, updating on new drugs, but it is not like mlm commission.
Is the US really affected by Dr's on commission from big pharma? What about the patient driven aspect? Here only over the counter meds can be advertised to the public, but on a visit to the States it felt like every other ad was for a prescription drug (well felt like it as they jumped out to me as so odd). Telling patients to ask they doctor for x rather than letting Dr decide with all their knowledge and training that X would be best approach seems to be as strong as any pharma deals with doctors to prescribe their company's insulin rather than another company.

Thank you Hannah for how eloquently you explained the issue with the pediatrician. So many valid concerns and so well put.

Pediatrician here: What this doctor is doing is not okay. We have an oath to do no harm and serve in the best interests of our patients. He shouldn’t be recommending something that he can financially benefit from. This is so wrong. :(

As someone who lost two grandparents because of Alzheimer’s…the amount of rage I feel running through my veins listening to that “testimonial”. I’m literally crying because I’m so angry about that one. All of it is wrong. All of it. But I cannot stand that anyone thinks that it was okay to do something like this to an elderly man with a condition that currently has no cure.

The Engagic rep is Australian, she mentions Super or Superannuation which is sort of a retirement fund in Australia. Your employer (unless you are an independent contractor like in an MLM) is required to put money in your super for you and when you retire you get that money. Relying on a MLM to put money into your super is a good way to be impoverished in your retirement years

A person with dementia can 'escape' and part of their illness and symptoms. If product has stimulants could very well trigger more physical activity but sounds as if still equally confused. As for driving, that can be a motor memory,, hopefully a quiet area and the gas station just along the road. It is for carers to make sure access to dangerous situations is prevented, be it cars or the gas cooker.

I am mortified about that doctor taking advantage of his mentally unwell patients! Ugh, I wish I knew what to do to help Hannah, it is truly unethical and for CHiLDREN too!! I’m speechless 😵‍💫

I expose a liar/criminal, they pull the "How DARE you tell the truth? You make me LOOK BAD!" like, yeah... kinda the point?

RE: the pediatrician. If he works for a hospital system (or is affiliated with a hospital system), perhaps complaints should made to them as well as the medical licensing board of Arkansas. Every facility that I worked for (retired nurse here), if we used our influence to have patients purchase items for us, give us gifts or what have you, it was a fireable offense. Also, if he is excepting medicaid patients, it could bee reported to the center for medicare and medicaid services. They tend to take a dim view on medical professionals using their position to scam patients. I am not sure that this would apply to him but honestly, I think it would be worth sending a report. And I do believe they can be done anonymously.

Im not sure why nobody has mentioned this yet, but that "Doctor" said in the first clip that the mom told him that she was ready to share. Does that mean he is also recruiting his patients/their parents?
I feel like that makes it so much worse.

Hannah, I've become a real fan of your content. I know you usually are really careful to blur out these people's face. You absolutely made the right decision putting this doctor out there for everyone to see. Hopefully dome medical board member will see it and look into him. What he was doing screamed of conflict of interest.

I emailed the Arkansas Medical Board asking for their stance on the ethics of selling MLM supplements. I know providers can sell supplements in their office, but I asked specifically if earning commission off sales or suggesting/prescribing MLM products was an ethical violation. If they say it is, I’ll report the doctor.

In fail #1, video 1, he says that the mom has been so pleased with the products that she’s ’ready to start sharing with others,’ which leads me to believe she’s in his down line now. Great! 😑
