I am completely in awe! I realized the effect music has had on my life and society some time ago. The way it is exposed in this video is seriously causing me to consider coming to Islam. I have been watching the jinn series for a week. It has awakened something in my soul, peeked my curiosity! Could it possibly be my Creator calling out my heart? Thank you so much for educating me. Allah bless you all 🖤

Oh come on guys. I’ve been a part time musician for 17 years, I’ve had a love for music since I was a kid. I just listened to some recitations the other day and teared up. I can’t think of many times when I thoughtfully listened to the Quran and and didn’t get overwhelmed to a certain extent. We’re not incompetent children that need to be kept from sticking our fingers in electrical sockets. You can have love for god and passion for music at the same time, an adult can do more than 1 thing.
Music can give people an escape from their regular lives, lighten their mood, get them through a difficult time. A lot of concerts are held for charity for the hungry and less fortunate. As for lyrics, The Quran encourages us to think for ourselves, you can like how something sonically sounds while understanding the words are nothing more than music without taking the “message “ at face value. The Quran talks about getting to know other tribes and learn from each other, learning the music of a people is a fantastic window into their culture.
The Quran itself has a vary rhythmic, musical nature to it. It’s one of the key components that attracted converts in it’s infancy. Like many gifts from god, music can become toxic if used the wrong way. Food, the opposite sex, knowledge, charisma, all of these gifts can become unhealthy in excess and used for negativity. You just need to use the wisdom god allowed you to know where to draw the line.
Use the brain god gave you and question when someone tells you to give up something that’s done nothing but uplift you and give you purpose without imposing on anyone.

There's actually plenty songs that are about worshipping the devil but people won't really notice, we sing songs or listen to songs that have a great tune that's addicting to listen to, the devil gets happy. May Allah protect us all from this horror and forgive us for not knowing music is haram, now we know and we will stop it inshallah!

Im even more blessed because I left islam after studying Quran, ahadeeth, sunnah, seerah, shariah and fiqh in uae, ksa, israel as I’m Palestinian, and Egypt. Islam is of the devil Allah خير الماكرين is Satan for he admits that he is a makir aka deceiver. He admits to being آلمضل he who leads people astray and that he’s the الضار or he who inflicts harm. These are of his 99 names and they are attributes of Satan. My name is Mohamed and today I expose Islam as I have a death sentence on me in Uae and ksa for renouncing islam. That’s what islam commands. من بدل دينه فاقتلوه

Mahmud Hasan Shourov this is exactly how Muslims reply when they have no answers. They accuse people of lying lol. First of all, my name is Mohamed, and I’m fluent in Arabic so if you want to switch and discuss this in Arabic, let’s go for it. ماعنديش ايمانع انياثنت لك اني كنت مسلم و كفرت بمحمد الارهابي و دينه الفاسد. I linked a few words so that if you use google translate you will not be able to. I can provide my birth certificate which unfortunately states the religion as I was born in the United Arab Emirates, a 100% Muslim nation. I studied ISLAm academically and have a degree in Islamic studies with a major in shariah and fiqh from gami3at al azhar fi tanta w tab3an Il azhar ma3rouf.
Btw, statistics in Saudi Arabia state that 37% of saudis renounced ISLAm, and 2 million leave islam yearly in Indonesia for Christianity alone while double that number become atheist. The largest number of people renouncing islam is in Iran, Iraq. Syria and Egypt as 876 Muslims leave islam daily in Egypt alone. These are statistics we in the Arab world know very well as they were proclaimed all over our media. U can deny all you want. I’ll give you a link just about Indonesia!

the sheikh was right, it's either music or quran in your heart, but saying this stuff wouldn't help that much, we have to know how to actually fight it, and in other words, vanish it, in my opinion, if you're really addicted to music, one should start to involve nasheeds in his playlists and start including Quran as well, step by step inshallah!

I find listening to podcasts (such as freshly grounded) or Quran or reading books during commutes to be the best practical solutions.

Not easy it took me 6 months
To get rid of worldly music
Interestingly I failed over and over again over 6 months !
I finally was cured after hearing Omar Hishams Mastery of reading Allahs words in sounds of the Quran- I was for ever changed and now Allahs words have become my shield and Armor !
2 months later I lost my attachment to TV and Then 1 month later stopped Porn.
"First there was the Word" Allahs word is the oral tradition that is written as the Quran- the one who has this in the heart- that heart no longer has the ripe environment for toxicity....
Now no music of this world affects me - the words of Allah is my Music

To answer ur question, I think that the more u study Islam, & become closer to Allah, u will gradually start to dislike music. If I may make a suggestion to u: u can download the Iqra app. It has tons of Islamic station. Listen to lectures instead of music. U will gain great knowledge & reward becoz u r in Dhikr! There are also Islam game apps that challenge ur Islamic knowledge, & it's super fun & addictive. U can even get ur friends to get the app, & challenge each other on who knows more! Also there is the PeaceTV app!! It has programs on 24/7 & it's very entertaining. There is so much out here to do besides listen to harmful music :-)

Tiffany, don't be swayed by this totally uninformed nonsense. Music is not evil. Sure, the music industry is full of wicked people and modern music programs so many messages of sex, violence, egotism, and overindulgence but Abrahamic religion gives endless examples of God adoring music and asking people to play or sing, David and his harp, etc. This is just people posting as educated who take a simple concept and run with it. God made us how we are and even babies are born able to sway and dance and clap. It's a gift and the sin is to think God such a narcissist and sociopath that he would sabotage us with an apparent gift. People spreading this are the ones sinning asbits s self absorbed and narcissistic avenue to attention and seeming saher and wiser than you.

    • @thatsstilltbd5398
      @thatsstilltbd5398 3 года назад +1

Think about it rationally. The ppl supporting this ridiculous radical nonsense are supporting and spreading it by commenting on their smart phones. If anything were evil as can be, 20000 times more than music ever was, is a smartphone. How much more narcissistic can such hypocrites be when they swear off music and not smartphones.

    • @thatsstilltbd5398
      @thatsstilltbd5398 3 года назад +1

And my God, what kind of self absorbed jerk tells people something is wrong to do, using a filthy smartphone, and hahaha...say music is evil in its entirety WHILE MUSIC PLAYS in the background. Don't agree with such selfish people, call em out...or at least ignore them. Jesus said he loved God but hated religion. Use your common sense to determine what's right and wrong it's why god gave us reason. And rules people come up with, nomatter how holy you think they are, rules saying this trivial thing is evil or that natural thing and nstural feeling is evil because God is a saddistic psychopath I guess to them, trust the common sense and reason God gave you and not the random rules that people get attention and veneration and adoration by pretending they know something u don't even if it makes no logical sense. How are self serving attention whores more likely to give u truth than your own inner voice and brain God made you with.

+Abdullahi Mohamoud Music is haram, look at the artists and you will see that they sold their souls, maybe a few are not contracted by the devil, but they will be as soon they begin selling records and they will misguide you. Also what is more important reading Quran or wasting time listening to music. Even too much sleep is haram, so too much music or jewtube is also haram. follow the Quran, not hadith. The reason we as Muslims disagree is because we follow Hadiths that are written 300 years later after Muhamed salalahu alajhi we sellam, and the Quran forbids us to follow any other hadith except the Holy Quran.
In their history, there is a lesson for those who possess intelligence. This is not fabricated Hadith; this (Quran) confirms all previous scriptures, provides the details of everything, and is a beacon and mercy for those who believe.
Among the people, there are those who uphold baseless Hadith, and thus divert others from the path of GOD without knowledge, and take it in vain. These have incurred a shameful retribution.
GOD has revealed herein the best Hadith; a book that is consistent, and points out both ways (to Heaven and Hell). The skins of those who reverence their Lord cringe therefrom, then their skins and their hearts soften up for GOD's message. Such is GOD's guidance; He bestows it upon whomever He wills. As for those sent astray by GOD, nothing can guide them.
GOD cites the example of a man who deals with disputing partners (Hadith), compared to a man who deals with only one consistent source (Quran). Are they the same? Praise be to GOD; most of them do not know.
These are GOD's revelations that we recite to you truthfully. In which Hadith other than GOD and His revelations do they believe?
Which Hadith, other than this, do they uphold?
follow Quran not hadith. How can Muslims believe the hadith books when they tell a story about Muhamed salelahu aljehi we sellem that he had 11 or 12 wifes, when in Quran it is written to marry no more than 4. So Muhamed salahu alejhi we selem according the hadiths did not follow the Quran. The hadiths are bad and all the bad talk to Muslims comes from the hadith. I do not believe the story about the wifes and i do not believe Muhamed salalahu alejhu we sellem merried a 6 year old girl. Hadiths changed a lot and the reason Muslims kill Muslims today is because of these hadiths. Also discussing matters about Islam with non believers and letting them talk bad about Islam, Quran And prohet peace be upon them, is haram. And the purpose of the hadith books is just that, the ones that wrote these books did a very big haram. Many Muslims left Islam and became non believers, because the hadith and these stories. I pray to Allah subhanahu wa ta ala to guide us to the right path.

I’m into a group called BTS, a kpop group. And i agree that my heart kinda got occupied.. but i was very very young too atm and was bullied at school, and their music was my only comfort. I wasnt told specifically that i could also find my comfort in here. And for the past 2-3 weeks i’ve been so much into islan mashallah searching everything by myself learning so much new of my religion and i’m trying now to start my prayer again and keep it 5 times a day. Inshallah i will do that. Everyday i think about allah, i do have my kpop on the side, or bts, but i never forget allah. I’m just 15 right now and my goal for the coming 2020 is to become a better muslim, and focus alot of my religion. But i noticed, the bts, the passion i got for them are not coming in my way at all. I have definately lowered it, but right now its not harmful. I hope i can continue like this, and if getting rid of this completely is more rightful, i hope allah can help me in this, because bts’s songs are very meaningful for me and has helped me thru the hard times before i came to allah, and theres still some kinda comfort i find in them. May allah guide me right, if this is wrong i will do my best to leave it.

Being a music producer I believe that different musical genres have different effects on the human mind ex. metal, trap, dubstep do put on aggression which is why I completely agreed with the fact that nowadays musical industry is nothing but dirty and the worst part is that it's all over the mainstream but then, on the other hand, we have a tribunal, music for meditation and to relax our mind as well [ ex. the one playing in your video is one of them ]. So, nothing against you or the religion as I understand that you said that here since music can also play with your mind and make you do things which you're not supposed to and because of which music is abandoned entirely in here [ like I said nothing against your beliefs but you know, everything has it's own negative and positive sides which then led us to another question what is negative and positive (a completely different topic) ]

Subhanallah, awesome videos. Music is bad I learnt it from my own experience. I used to listen to music but when I started memorizing some Quran then I realized that I do not like to listen to music at all. But when I start listening to music then I do not like to listen to Quran or memorize it. From this experience, I realized Music is the worst. How dare it stops me from Quran. So, I deleted 25000 songs from my computer and Alhamdulillah, no songs in my computer or mobile since then. It realized in 2007. :) ALhamdulillah, May Allah kindly help music crazy people leave music. Music is extremely attractive drugs. Listening to Quran and connecting to Quran a lot is the only way to get rid of Music attraction according to my experience.

As Allah says, there is more harm to it than benefits, when speaking about alcohol. But, it's still haram!
Maybe that song Stitches has benefits, but there is much more harm to it that you don't even know of.

With all the rap in my head I should be Hafiz of Quran instead of Hafiz of mobb deep, Kool g rap, KRS one, big daddy kane, ll cool j, heavy d, brand Nubian, notorious big, Tupac, nwa, etc, wiz khalifa... I'd exchange every verse I ever heard for one from the Quran. Live and learn. Concscoius hip hop brought me to the door of Islam and I'm thankful. This new stuff is not the same.

Music touches emotions, just like scents do. Scent is the strongest sense tied to memory, which is why when you smell a recipe of your grandmother that you haven't had in a long time, you are transported back to childhood and you get warm, fuzzy feelings. Music does the same thing. Emotional centers in the brain light up when we hear music that we identify with, just like when we smell a scent that we identify with. Does anyone notice the eerie, supernatural-sounding music in the background of this video that makes the message more profound? You are being manipulated to feel that way by the music and high production quality of this video. If they were playing the ice cream truck song, it would not be as effective as evoking the feeling that the video-maker wants you to feel. Try it. Listen to a music box song when you watch this video and see if it has such a strong impact on you. They use MUSIC to evoke FEELINGS which is exactly the same thing every other music artist does. The best artists write a lot of songs that people can apply their own interpretation to so they identify with it, and it makes them feel a certain way.

If his uncle is right and music is indeed good, then explain to me why there has been many insidents of muslims having an evil death due to music?
Muslims who on their death bed, instead of reciting the kallimah (Testament of faith) on their death bed, have sang songs from a 50 cent song for example?
FEAR ALLAH, FEAR ALLAH, FEAR ALLAH
If you want to listen to music, be my guess, do what you want, no one can stop you but for your own sake, dont misguide other muslims by suggesting that music is halal and good, when it clearly is not as there is a clear, authentic hadith (Authentic sayings of Prophet Mohammed pbuh), which makes it clear hat music is forbidden in Islam and it can be clearly seen too by looking at the impact music has that it is bad.

That's really good that you have a solid Imaan, but that is literally extreme level and you could just put them in a photo book away from the sight of everyone instead of full-on burning it. Yes, it is the extra step forward but at the same time, it promotes extremism that is not necessary. Keep it away from plain sight and indulge in such actions with limitation; that way you are securing a place in the afterlife and also making yourself a role model in this world and not being an introverted extremist by burning memories. You are making the religion look bad in front of the disbelievers, instead of showing the beauty which can be done by BALANCED and SINCERE actions that make them attracted towards Islam instead of going like 'man that dude is weird, why should I turn to Islam when it promotes such extremist things'.
Please keep these nonsense views out of Islam, real Islam is mixture of good deeds and good attitude in one, stuff like this brings a bad reputation and, therefore, shifts people away from the religion instead of attracting them. Can't spread a word of truth because ignorants like you take it too far and people automatically affiliate word of the Islam with your BS extremism. May the lord guide us all the right path, amen.

After I saw this video, I understood every single thing they said and what Allah has been trying to tell us for decades now. They are right. The music is filthy, vulgar, and it does encourage sexual behaviour.
I will now delete my music playlist and avoid the music as much as I can.
I will also encourage people I know and love to stop listening to music and head on to The Right Path.

nowadays, its too hard to never listen to music like in TV (kids cartoon , news ..) ; weddings ; phone tones (your friends ,dads,.. phone) ... especially with the easy to find it (internet).
but we will keep trying to not listen.

+Ayman Don There is difference between intentionally listening to Music and unintentionally listening, the Usuliyoon of Ahluss-Sunnah differenciate between intentionally hearing with the mind (Al Istimaa3) .
As long you hear it unintentionally, there is no sin on You Inshallah.

So im born a muslim but don't know how to pray, inshallah ill be learning as of now, but I know what type of person I am im into any sort of music: metal, hip hop, soul, rock... I came across your channel on Wednesday and I had been watching the prophet series.. After watching the video about one of our prophets Sheeth... something in me told me to just stay away from music, I still can't believe I did this but I went to my phone and just deleted EVERY THING. I know how music makes me feel.. excited and all these weird things that im attracted to so the fact that I just completely deleted everything was just .. different. It was a good feeling though and although its only been a couple of days ive really opened up to the fact of not having music in my life.. weirdly enough its made me notice more things around me and how serious this stuff is. The dunya is no joke. im terrified and I really plan to do my best to pass this test insha Allah.
