One should never set out on a road trip even if theres the slightest indication of a fever before starting the trip - especially in the monsoon season! Always prioritize health over a road trip. And always make sure to carry paracetamol (dolo/crocin) and plenty of water/liquids and even a packet or few packets of ORS (electral) for the way as its important to stay hydrated in case of a fever. Hope @dronemanYT is doing better now and hope to see the two of you soon on the NH66 to Goa!

Hii Hemant, Recommend u to take a halt at Kolhapur and proceed to Amboli as u do ...... Food options and stay are very limited on Anuskura....plus I felt it is more distance. I am not aware of condition of Nipani Gadhinglaj Ajra road if the work is completed....u can use Kolhapur Gargoti Amboli route ,I used it in March as suggested by Google. V had stayed at Sayaji and heading to Panjim

Best from Karjat Phata, Khalapur, Pali Ballaleshwar Ganesh Mandir, Nizampur,Mangaon, mahad, poladpur,chiplun, Sangmeshwar,Devrukh,Sakharpa,Watul,Rajapur to kudal....the best and safe route....I came in kudal in 8.10 hrs literally. Do try....Now Travelers may find traffic due to onslaught of Ganesh bhakts travelling for Ganesh Chaturthi festival in Konkan. Via Kolhapur to Konkan toll is around 800 rupees.
