I love John Grant's music and personality. Thanks for the interview. Now I love him even more
Most kids growing up in and around Detroit MI and lower Michigan had some form of music education. It was very culturally engrained.
A great video! it is rare to hear an interviewer and an artist so in tune, and the result is a chat full of topics: politics, musical experiences, records by talented artists. the interplay between the two has the development of a musical duet. don't miss it!
I saw John on Friday singing the songs of Patsy Cline. His voice fits her songs like a glove. I’m still high from the gig.
I do love John, and I do love his music!
Thanks for this interview/conversation! I have seen John interviewed many times and this one is a standout. I don't understand what keeps people from appreciating his voice and his lyric voice either. I am glad he is himself, he is so worth it. And thanks for giving him the space to express, good on you for letting people talk, will you consider adding the bit that got cut off?
John Grant, now you're talking.
Strange to see John Grant in conversation with a bargain basement Tucker Carson.
i agree agree agree agree boom lumie body blob lol
it is a shame interviewer didn't allow john to talk more about hos fear of displeasing his parents with regards to his desire to write and sing. the religious constraints. a big missed opportunity.
The host let Grant free to say whatever he wanted, such a spontaneous dialogue is very rare to find.
