Thank you so much for sharing your story. I too was finally diagnosed in Jan 2023. I’ve since had 4 IVIG Infusions and it’s helping with my symptoms. God Bless !

It really is a beautiful story, and they make it so easy to empathize with each of their journeys. Rare Diseases affect the person diagnosed and their entire support circle as well. For everyone's sake we need to advocate for medical practitioners to learn more about these rare diseases so that a patient can receive treatment immediately.

Such a strong bond between this mother , daughter team. Both survivors from two very different points of view. Thanks for sharing such a personal story. I wish you many more happy years, with good health and laughter.

My dad is 85 years old and was diagnosed with CIDP 2012 and before being diagnosed he had 2 surgery’s that was not necessary. It’s been very hard for him and he only gets his IVIG treatments now every two weeks that keeps him able to walk a little.

Tamara Foxen he first had carpal tunnel surgery that didn’t help then the doctor said it was be a pinched nerve in his neck he got that surgery and continued getting worse. We were having to pick him up from falling to the floor before the neck brace came off. We new it had to be more serious and we found a doctor in Florida that diagnosed him correctly.
