from Gerry- I just purchased a small tapestry loom to "play" with. Since I quilt, knit, dye, spin, rigid heddle weave, I did not want to invest too much until I determined I really liked this kind of weaving. Your piece is very artistic. I will produce something in a few days. Glad I found your channel. Blessings.

Wonderful! Congrats on your new loom. I am finding the smaller portable tools are my go to because they are portable.

I started with Craft Boutique Rotating Heddle Bar loom, cheaper then Funem. yes, there is a surprising height resraint and it shrinks alot off the loom. anyway, I made many tapestries with the loom and ultimately moved onto large upright tapestry looms, quite large, and am making 5ft high 4 ft wide tapestries

Your piece is really lovely Stacey. I recently purchased a tapestry loom similar to yours as I really wanted the shed device. I am using more traditional methods just to get my brain used to something different, but I also want to try similar to what you have done. I need to be more brave. I am not a fan of those big chunky yarns and how they are used in 'modern tapestry' wall hangings. They look so tame, to come up with a phrase. Thanks for being so inspirational. :)
