- Here's a quick construction update of the Communicore Hall/Plaza at EPCOT that's finally opening on June 10th 2024. Since my last update in March, signage has been added all around the building and many more of the Spaceship Earth-like triangles have been installed. You can even see some of them lit up during the day time. This was filmed on May 6th 2024 from around 4pm - 4:45pm

The SSE tile motif on the building exterior really is such a brilliant touch! How cool would it be if Mickey & friends would do meets & greets in their retro Epcot Center space suits...😉
I would absolutely love if Disney brought back those vintage space suits for the characters!! I really hope so!

Love the share!! If I follow through😅 on a quick weekend I booked, I’ll just miss (ahead) the walls being gone (unless the walls come down before Communicore Hall opens 🤞) I love this area! The gardens are nice; the music still carries the Epcot vibe (even though new…and moving away from the electronic/synth sound…I still love the old music…but I love this too!!). I also love the look of the building exterior…as though some panels flew from Spaceship Earth to land on the walls of 😮 Communicore Hall. I look forward to the lighting effects they will have on that building exterior!! So exciting to get to this next milestone!! Bravo for this share 4K!!
It would be great if the walls come down a little early! The landscaping looks done so it’s possible for your potential quick trip!! I really like what they did with the exterior of the building, I’m sure it’ll look even more amazing lit up at night! Thanks so much Rick! 😃

👷🏻♂You usually nab them putting up signs, surprised you didn't catch the Mickey & Friends one going up😛 The flecks of colors on the panels are interesting & them is big amps 🔊which I hope doesn't compromise the sound of the BGM. Today was 87 here, so can imagine what's it like down there, so I hope the HVAC crews earned the $$ and the🥶A/C is worthy! As king of the monorail shot, Figment & his jumpy water approve. Thx 4💜
Haha oh I was certainly late with showing the signs, I think they put them up a month ago😂 That stage definitely looks like it’ll be super loud, I’m guessing the nighttime atmosphere there will be intense lol. Today was like 96 and tomorrow will be even hotter🥵 Summer is back too soon haha. Thanks so much as always Liz and stay cool over there!!
@@4KWDW Epcot-wise, I'm guessing the gymnastic troupe that perform near Creations got ditched? I don't hear about them & when they started, they didn't seem to get rave reviews. You didn't even show them, so maybe they are tweaking their act?
@@Liz.R I think that gymnastics show is still there! I did film the show when it started but just never got around to posting it. I thought it was cool but overall it’s not something I’d make time to see again honestly

I have just fallen in love with the new World Celebration area. It has such a uniquely Epcot energy to it. (And I really don't miss the fountain tbh.) It will be interesting to see how performances change the dynamic! Love these construction updates!

Wowsa! It feels like there's been real progress...In the opening shot it reads silver, but that's just the frame, right? It's going to be white like Spaceship Earth? Maybe it's just unreliable memories, but isn't Spaceship Earth's "dome" more seemless? Thanks for the update and Happy "Disneying!"💜

Haha it’ll just be a place to cool off for the most part. The Mickey & friends meet and greet will be in there and I think there will be a bar and a gallery in there too

What's the point of calling it Communicore, other than reminding people of what an interesting fun, educational place EPCOT used to be and isn't any more?
