Plants vs zombies? 🤣 Ye now that you mention it some parts do sound like it goes with it. At the same time it sounds like an attack on titan opening theme 😂
Hey! Sounds great. I am wondering, how did you learn to transcribe music? I am doing some serious ear training for the last couple of months, but I am not getting much better. Being able to hear something like this(or anything, even simple, actually) seems so impossible to me. Is it a thing that you learn very slowly over multiple years, or am I doing something wrong? Currently I am doing around 20-30m of practice every day (intervals, chords etc.), but at this pace, I feel like I can learn Chinese faster than I can hear music lol.
i have perfect pitch, and i love to play every song i like. Most songs in the modern era have common chord patterns, those that try to be different simply use some different base notes or diminished chords. it is also beneficial to listen to professional transcriptions ( of modern songs ), or romantic classical music, because the chords they construct are complex yet produces a similar sense of sound. Try to find those chords on the piano, and transpose it down a few tones, and you’ll get used to a certain type of sound/harmony instead of a mixture of specific notes. im not sure what im saying either🥲
@@tkrpianoAfter some time recently I found out that it seems like my problem was that I had been developing perfect pitch (ironic), which in turn was making my relative pitch training very hard. I would have never thought that you can develop it as an adult, but recently after some training I am slowly starting to hear notes in music. I guess it will take me a couple more months to be able to actually use it though. So next I wanted to ask, how much do you use relative vs perfect pitch in your music transcriptions? Do you listen for all the notes in a chord separately, for example, or do you hear "D diminished" chord instantly? What method do you think is faster/easier? (how important is relative pitch if you have perfect pitch?)
