I’m an Armenian and after 9/11, I remember I was working at the mall and one pissed off customer told me “Don’t go blowing up the Empire State Building now!”. It was such a shock to me. Armenians get stereotyped too. It’s crazy

I'm pretty sure the audience was laughing, it's just that the microphones weren't set up to where you would hear them (like they do in a comedy show).

My toughts exactly - as if they could not understand what he was talking about. But I have not noticed at once, because on the video, we can see people only from behind. Than I noticed the difference between people clapping and people sitting stiff as if they have eaten a broom.

it's 2 fold, college audiences are so PC, they don't laugh at anything. to the point that many comedians don't even perform on college campuses anymore. 2nd part is that Maz sucks. his jokes and material are old and have been done to death.
