Hi, thank you for putting this video up, I’m growing a few different varieties of winter squash and it’s very helpful to me. One of my varieties is the Ann Swartz Hubbard winter squash. I think that you mentioned that with Hubbard squash it’s best to remove the stem? If I heard that right then could you tell me where I should cut it back too? Many thanks for all your kind help. Bob
I cut the stems on my Blue Hubbard right above the body of the squash. I left maybe 1/4" or 1/2", just far enough up I knew I wouldn't damage the squash itself
If you only have a few squash, could you cure them like some people do sweet potatoes, using a large tub, a jar of water, a heat mat aunder the tub and heat mat thermostat and vent tge tub?

I've never seen it done that way, but it seems like it would work.
