Great video once again! The game turned out great!
Top job done right there!.. & great teamwork.. Love your work!. 👌
Just found your videos. Very awesome. I’ll try and get the word out.
Great video and the game came out great.
Great job! Game looks AWESOME! Good choice of music too
Thanks!!!
Good video but you were using the router in the wrong direction, which is why it left the edges rough. The blade faces the other way on the bit so you need to move counter clock-wise around the game.
For the coin door it's the opposite (move clock-wise) in order to cut with the bit moving left.
Also: ALWAYS check the router bit and tighten it up between long cuts (unplug it first)
But amazing job! It came out great!
AHHHH Good to know! Thanks! I bet we would have gotten a smoother cut!
@@VintageArcadeGal Trust me we all learned the hard way including me. Lol.
Also, the correct router bit to buy is the flush trim bit with the bearing on the top of the bit, so that when it's installed it will face down and ride along the edge of the wood where the t-molding sits.
I think you may have had the wrong bit which faces up when installed. I wish someone had told me there were two versions of the flush trimmer bit. I learned the hard way just like you.
Brilliant video. I just use sheets of adhesive vinyl, not as tough obviously, but very easy to do. Is this going to become a Mikie? Or is the marquee just in there. I loved that game as a kid.
Question. Exactly what kind of hand truck is that?
Thank you.
where did you buy your laminate from? was it a specific brand?
what thickness of laminate are you using? and would you recommend any peel and stick product
It's just what ever the typical thickness is for kitchen cabinet type material (it is fairly thin, and easy to crack). The peel in stick kind I have not used, but I think it's a bit on the thick side for arcade cabinets probably.
