I must admit from your videos I've acquired the confidence to try things that maybe I was too afraid to try. I would mess up and of course it was about trial and error. I was even impressed with myself. I would like to say from everyone watching your videos. They have to actually try to do some of the things that you've shown us. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for sharing Chad. I am just about to mount my model t steel body and this info will be a great time savers for me because I have never channeled a car before.
Every time I’ve seen it done, you brace the body so it doesn’t move after the structure is removed and cut out the floor. Make the subframe the exact width that will allow the body to slide over. The angle iron will sit on top of the subframe and can be made one complete piece. Trial and error and good measurements is how it goes.

Think this may give me enough confidence to actually try to channel an old rig, thanks for sharing.

Where are you located and will you channel a car for me?
Ok, I kinda sorta got it, maybe. But a demonstration video would sure help. And dont ya end up sitting on the floor, with yer feet up under the dash?🤣
What if yer car DOES have a floor in it already?
