A thing that Shy Guy had the advantage is cuz that he's a murderer without any morals, while Omni Man is a warrior with standards. Shy Guy will do anything in his power to kill anyone and anything that sees his face, including fighting dirty like with the nut shots
After some time to think on it, Omni man likely wouldn’t run away from an opponent anyways so the ending is still the likely conclusion if they were to fight
096 has fought with 682, which as far as I know, is a multiversal threat, both can go higher and higher in power, without real ways of taking each other down, that's why it ended with a tie. Omni man is planetary at best, maybe star or a bit higher if you count his fight with Supreme, but neither them, the Invincible verse and The Boys verse would do a thing to the Shy guy. Shy guy is an anomaly, a supernatural being that doesn't follow the laws of physics, he can go as fast, and get as strong as the situation requires, he doesn't need his vital organs, his skeleton is virtually indestructible, and if his opponent doesn't have immortality, huge regeneration, a similar hax (like Hulk), or any other hax that allows him to (e.g), break reality, hop between dimentions or make itself intangible, etc, they're not surviving 096. Maybe the top dogs of franchises such as DC and Marvel, OPM, Dragon Ball, H.P Lovecraft, etc, would be able to outright defeat him, mere beings like Omni-man and below just doesn't stand a chance.
