it repeats itself to hammer in important details for people that may miss them otherwise...or for people like Arin that hear them over and over and STILL forget, then rage at the game for his own incompetence
I recently finished the Danganronpa trilogy and I can confidently say that it became one of my favorite game series ever. I wish I could experience them for the first time all over again.
It cuts from Dead By Daylight to Dan saying "I'm also kind of amazed that this was made by HudsonSoft" on Mario Party 5. For a moment I was like, wait ~ WHAT?? 1:17:43

Hear me out about Danganronpa's pacing: Each case is like a puzzle, and the culprit is revealed when all the puzzle pieces are put together. The way the game presents each piece of the puzzle, however, does little to acknowledge the obvious associations between puzzle pieces until the class trial, where the player puts the puzzle together piece by piece. The game goes 1. Story theme introduction 2. Puzzle piece collection 3. Puzzle piece assembly Long story short, when you have border pieces, you don't need to do a lot of mental gymnastics to figure out where those pieces go. With several minutes dedicated to the placement of each individual piece of the puzzle, the assembly becomes a chore and class trial episodes of Game Grumps become unsatisfying. but like I'm really high and super depressed so I could be rambling
