You should definitely contact the owner and see if they would possibly do a free or cheap stay in exchange for essentially free advertising. You could make a really beautiful & cool video for them. You have a good amount of subs now that I definitely think it is at least worth asking! I know I’m like everyone else and would love to see inside and hear the history behind this house and family. Also curious if the staff has any creepy stories about working there. Lol!

Great job on the video. I grew up in the town next to Jim Thorpe and was aware of the Disney connection. Jim Thorpe also was supposed to be the home of the NFL hall of fame but that did not work out.
Couple of things, Asa Packer made his money in coal and then formed a railroad.
The door at the end of the video leads to the ice house, where they stored perishable items before refrigeration.

That is awesome...PA has such neat things to see that a lot of people dont know about. Can you imagine that little garden area at night in the fog ...shudder.....and we could hear the bells.....nice ambiance tho i did chuckle a bit since i am pretty sure they were playing the song , "the Entertainer" Odd choice for church bells ...LOL It really does remind me of the Haunted Mansion ...especially the front porch with all the vines . Always wanted to go to Jim Thorpe...Gorgeous little town and lots of other things to do there too . I googled (couldnt remember) according to the internet....
Jim Thorpe is a town in eastern Pennsylvania. The Mauch Chunk Museum and Cultural Center details the area’s coal mining history, and the life of the town’s namesake, Native American athlete Jim Thorpe. In nearby Lansford, No. 9 Mine and Museum is set in a 19th-century anthracite coal mine. On the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway, century-old coaches powered by diesel engines take passengers into Lehigh Gorge State Park
If you happen over closer to Harrisburg there is a super nice Civil War museum there along with the state capital building that holds free tours. Yay for Rainy PA...we are getting it east of State College too....all day..blah
