Very glad to have found information on idiopathic scoliosis as I believe this is what is plaguing my son who is also quadriplegic. We are taking him for a surgery consultation from Indiana to Ohio to the Cincinnati Children's Hospital as soon as we can raise the funds for the trip. We are very optimistic that this type of surgery will help him with sitting up straight again, being able to wear his clothing on straight and evenly, and the reduction of future problems with heart and lung problems.
