Probably my least favorite fight in the DLC. Not very enjoyable having to deal with the hiding from the witness, juggling shielded from darkness, as well as dealing with the dread at the same time.
Fr this fight felt like a legit raid encounter. Took me 3 hours and over 50 deaths to complete it on legendary solo and i hated every second of it 😂
I'm just having problems with cover not bring cover! Wish I was able to go invis
@@supersalmon2279 If you're on hunter, you can go invisible with shatter kills using prismatic. It's not much, but that paired with red death saved me from many situations where I should have died.
@xbeliefs4242 This and the fallen cave were probably the hardest moments in the dlc. Bother of those fights suffered from the same issues, cramped arenas, and enemies that have obscured or take reduce damage from critical spots.
@LoganJP0120 unfortunately mate I'm trying to do it on Warlock haha 😄 I just seem to get caught with stasis or strand 😆
i was expecting to solo a tormentor for the third half of the shield. I got so happy when I saw the gang pull up. Took me over 10 tries.
Yeah seeing the Traveler aids us at the end there was honestly pretty cool!
Felt I was Elden ring for the amount i died!! (I still haven’t completed it) 😂
I beat it on my 4th try solo. I played with 100% focus out of sheer anger because my friends decided not to help me fight this boss because their run took 'too long'. :'( I hate my friends.
This fight is torture.
it's way harder with 3. feels like its in a trio the health is 10x more

@@Zxtronix finally managed to beat him solo. The key is to really take your time, I used a heal clip sidearm with forerunner and a linear fusion rifle. It’s more so a marathon, not a sprint. If you’re low on health wait a bit and deal damage when you’re full health.

To beat him on my second try with warlock I used 1k voices on prismatic feed the void/hellion with vortex grenade and arcane needle, song of flame super and off all things sanguine alchemy exotic (boosts damage matching your super, i.e. solar)
1k melted the subjugators pretty nicely, devour kept me alive and song of flame was a great bail out super. After you use the second sword you just need to kill a near death subjugator and then go right back in again.

Can anyone tell me what's in the echos bundle?
For example.
If I buy the season pass 1500 silver. Do I get all 3 act or just Act 1.
Or for all 3 act I have to buy the echos bundle.
If you buy Echoes, you'll own all 3 acts but act 2 and 3 release later. The echoes silver bundle is just 1700 silver but you get a legendary emote on top of it

I found dot damage and damage buddys deal with the shementor hulks pretty well
Man I cant wait to get the dlc, I'm gonna get it soon and while I wait ima get the strand supers for my titan and hunter so I have all 3 supers

Im solo with all the enemies, subjugator, poison gas, witness shards and afyershock move, all whilst being yanked around with strand was so overwhelming 😂😂 took me 2 hours idek how i did it tbh
I keep making it 7:47 but we are 2/3 man if it . Think ima solo and see what happens
i dont get how im supposed to deal with being poisoned, literally the moment the fight starts i get poisoned and shooting the ball things doesnt cure it so i just keep dying over and over
You've gotta be close to the balls when you shoot them, that will give you a buff that nullifies the poison for about 45s.
@@Treymanblok nah yeah I was doing that but I got it, my game was just bugged, it was poisoning me before the air even changed
Solo was way easier to deal with than with full fireteam honestly took me 3 tries solo compared to full team
That's what I tell people, doing it as a team is harder unless everyone is very good at the game. You are much better off soloing it.

should post a DIM link to to your build or at least show it in game before you start like mods & stuff
It's in the pinned commend, is literally the default Prismatic Fragments that you unlock + basic mods that barely make a difference. This fight is more about positioning and using the right weapons which I also listed down.
What was the point of going to the edge like that?
I was figuring out the mechanics, thought you had to jump from the edge to grab the shield, then I realized that there was an entrance 😂
@@TreymanblokMost definitely not convinced because you seemed to automatically know the rest of the whole fight like you've tried it all before.
@@RedceLL1978 You were literally taught every mechanic while doing the previous missions of the campaign... it's not that hard.
@@Treymanblok but you weren't given warning before doing the fight what you'd be thrown into. So I'm definitely not convinced. Several times you looked like you knew exactly what to expect and were in position for it in several different phases, waiting for what was coming. You're not fooling anyone. Absolutely looked like you faked not knowing the entrance was there also

Its basically a raid encounter as far as mechanical depth goes. I think they just meant that its not as simple as "dps" the boss. Its definitely brutal on legendary solo.

After watching you beat the mission I’m shocked I’m so close to beating it . After failing over 30+ times wasting 3hrs fighting the witness not to mention streaming for 8+ hrs I think I’m going to give it a try solo. Guardians.. I’m going back in😂🦾
