PSA : for the last turtle , if your having issues with it not showing up its because you used fast travel. You have to ride the whole route for it to spawn. :)

For anyone having issues on Chelona's Rise puzzle, i had a problem with the second turtle, i killed the first one over cliff and the second never showed up.. i killed the third one north - west and i got this message saying that the seal was broken.. i did use fast travel but i was able to complete the puzzle after killing the third one.
@Simon I had the same Problem, just killed one ... and then went to the Spot for the last one and took the windtornado up and seal opened. Note I just killed the first turtle
IMPORTANT gor those wondering about the last one you can get it without that ending you can complete her quest even after the game and you can get the moonlight greatsword and the spell

All steps were easy as I had finished the game (Got Elden Lord ending) and am just cleaning up ready for NG+ for that bugger of an achievement to get .. Ranni's ending, Age of Stars. Yes, I walked right over her bloody blue sign.....

LAST TURTLE FYI: If you fast travel back to the alter before getting the last floating one interact with the book outside the alter, this is what spawns the 3 turtles and when you fast travel it resets your interaction :)
Alternatively, you can just use the 'Memory Of Grace' to return to the site of grace, but lose all your runes doing so, but this is what'd I call, 'maidenless behavior'.
I don’t like how there’s less legendary incantations than soceries :(, especially for someone like me whom is a faith build main it greatly limits room, of course Scarlet Aeonia and Elden Stars are pretty good but then things like Comet Azur cheese exists and it just creates a clear advantage. Hoping they make more incantations that can catch up with those sorceries in the DLC🤞. Praise the sun.
@@toastboast1368I guess I will, since Logan didn't. Might help someone who's struggling with this. From what I've noticed, incantations seem more balanced as utilities than sorceries. The only defensive sorceries just protect you from magic, while incantations can raise all kinds of defenses and heals. Furthermore, sorceries will only do magic damage, aside from the handful of gravity ones. Incantations can hit just about every element, which makes targeting weaknesses easier. Also, having cheesed many a boss, I can say that the gold and blue lasers hit just as hard as their counterpart. However, sorceries do seem more powerful in general, since a few can be held down indefinitely which works wonders with the infinite fp flask. Sorceries are also usually better for just delivering damage to a pve target, though the weird animations of incantations make them better for pvp. I hope that helps. Also, I agree with you on the dlc spells, in that I hope there are more raw damage incantations, though I also hope there'll be more defensive sorceries, like DS2's barriers.
TRUE. Same boat here and I agree they way overdid it with the spells in this game, it's very unbalanced distribution and many of the spells are just pointless or garbage (so are a few incants). I wish it was evenly distributed
@@Flixcer1404 you mean mohg the omen? the run through sewers may be annoying, but the boss itself isn't hard, especially with the summons. his swinging attacks are easy enough to dodge and ranged don't do too much damage. while gargoyles have poison, fly across the arena and also. there are two of them.
I killed the 1 turtle, then the 3rd by jumping up. Then I stupidly teleported and the second turle was missing. Managed to get it to respawn and here are my steps: 1. Killed my character by jumping on the cliff where 2nd turle meant to spawn. 2. Teleported back to the Altar. 3. Checked 1st turtle location again. 4. Checked 3rd turtle location again. 5. Ride all the way to 2nd turtle location and it was there. Hope this helps.

i finished the ending my journey 2 and became elden lord :) so now i have to go journey 3 and take all these routes and checkpoints again just for rannis dark moon . more annoying thing too is i did the age of stars ending in my first journey
You can straight up do this without fighting radahn as long as you go to leyndell and head to the sewers fight mohg and hit the wall behind the chest then as you make it to the very bottom of the ruins you’ll see a door that allows you to get another ending and there is an illusionary wall that you have to roll into bc you can’t attack in that room
FYI everyone the Turtle "Quests" at both Chelonas' Rise and Testus' Rise are extremely bugged, it seems like leaving the location (even though you cant clearly see/know how far you can go), dying or fast travelling screws up your progress and the spawns, with Chelonas' Rise, I took the Easternmost Turtle first, then I went all the way up on the west site to find the flying one and it wasnt there, I used the jump pad thing twice and couldn't see it, so I went and killed the one on the cliff at the back of the building and for reasons beyond my understanding it finished the quest. I can only assume its something to do with the turtles respawn everytime you kill one of the other two, as such if you kill one of them at the right time, you actually kill the "flying" turtle as it spawns above unloaded terrain, then just falls straight through the floor instead of floating high above it, hence why a lot of people have only killed two turtles. TL:DR - Kill the east turtle, then the middle turtle, in theory you should not require the third turtle, if you do - go and use the jump pad, then head back to the site of grace and it should just complete.

Oh man. Normally I don't watch videos on locations and just hope to farm them. But I'm trying to get my platinum trophy and it's obvious the one I missed was "Founding rain of stars" 500hrs into Elden ring and I would've never thought there was an invisible bridge there.
If you are struggling with the 3rd tortoise and can’t find it the reason is after every time you rest at a sight of grace you must read the clue again and then the remaining tortoises will re-appear
for all the turtles just make sure you dont fast travel, if you do go touch the sign that says "seek the three giant beasts" again for the turtle to show up again, and no it wont reset

I killed only the one by the tower and it opened the seal. Tower seems a little buggy but I’m not complaining off mine lol

it is just ivisible, if you keep jumping one time you will accidently hit it

Theres info you buy from a nearby merchant that mentions a secret cave in that area. But it is hard to find even knowing that.

if you're struggling with the gargoyles boss in nokron, there is another way to the elden stars location - in the catacombs under the capital

2. Teleported back to the Altar.
