- Swapping out my Greddy Racing Titanium Racing Catback Exhaust for my Stock Honda OEM Stainless Steel Exhaust. There are no catalytic converters on the car which is why you hear more noise than from a stock Honda Accord Coupe. The Intake I have on my car is a Takeda Short Ram Intake and sounds awesome paired with the exhaust!! You don’t believe me? Watch the video..

I struggled with my hangers for a bit but I used WD-40 and woah it made a change, came off WAY easier with just my hands.

I have watched a majority of your Accord Coupe i4 videos.. I have an 08 Accord Coupe i4 and noticed on your Ktuner you put rv6 downpipe, Takeda SRA intake and exhaust. My question is did you go back into your Ktuner and adjust putting back on the Stock muffler?
When you change this exhaust is it the same exhaust or a different exhaust. I have an 08 Ford ranger that has a weeping hole that drains water. If I change this out to a cat back will that still have a weeping hole. Does that improve any difference if it is removed or not ?

Any opinions on a torxe catback exhaust? I got a 2015 civic ex and just ordered the exhaust for it. Is the installation the same if not at least similar to the one in this video?
I'm installing an after market exhaust on my cobalt but my exhaust is like two inches and the one Ima order is 3.5 and I need to Leave my cat because of emission, will it just Bolt on the stock cat? Or do I need to buy new headers and a bigger cat? I've never done this before since this is my first car lol.

just so you know all Honda's make that same intake sound and you hear it more if your Honda has a VTech System my 2002 Honda accord coupe EX V6 makes that sound its amazing it sounds like a mini turbo or blow off valve. and by the way Nice Honda

I assume you had to get the car tuned when you installed the intake?
Better yet install a 2 1/2' piping with cat and magnaflow muffler and magnaflow tip like i did on my 280zx :) sounds like no other sport car around. Definitely sticks out from the ricers.

anytime u upgrade intake u have to put muffler on for better flow if u dont ur exhuast which is stock well hold back power now that u full upgrade how do it fell
+meer khan With that being said, a muffler will not make a difference, you will need to change your catalytic converter to high-flow cats, along with changing the entire cat-back piping. The best way to get a performance gain, is to remove the largest restrictions closest to the engine. So changing your cats will be more effective than changing your muffler, as your muffler is further down the exhaust system.
For an intake, if you just slap that on, you might not get a performance gain. You will also have to install a larger throttle body along with making the intake runners larger to accommodate for the extra air flow.

I have a k24a4 accord but my engine cover is gray how did you paint it red? did you remove the sticker and put it back did you use thermal paint? and also the throttle body looks cool, how did you do it or where can I get it done? thanks in advance @milanmastracci
+Gus Stalin Yeah I removed the sticker with a heat gun, and then painted it red. The same paint actually for my brake callipers so it matched!! I installed a throttle body spacer :)
Right now I have a g35 and I have the exhaust straight piped I get a lot of attention from people but not from the cops since it's not illegal to have a loud exhaust

+MrRangerZr1 Depends on what you want. The reason I went with the delete is because they came with a defouler, so it tricks the computer to think everything is fine, while giving me no restriction close to the engine. If you go with the HFPC you won't have to worry about emissions, while getting a nice littler performance jump :) Your choice buddy!!

I've never heard of that before. Just keep in mind that if you go with PCD's and remove all restrictions from your exhaust system, your engine will breathe better. Now whatever valvetrain noise is i'm not sure, but it will be louder than stock and you'll be able to hear the engine noise a lot better.

Bill Orton I would suggest YouTubing '2015 Honda Accord Coupe V6 Exhaust' and finding which type of system you find sounds nice. After that, google the system you found and buy it from wherever you can get it cheaper.

+David Scott Not really. You might see a TINY gain but nothing where it will be extremely noticeable. More often than not, you just get to have a bit more noise when you accelerate, and a nicer looking engine bay. Thats about it :)

+Divisionsixty No. The only time that it would stress the engine is if you run with a smaller than stock size exhaust, which I have never seen by any exhaust manufacturer

zach manzano Zach it really depends on what car you have, and what is the size of the engine as the exhaust note is really the noise coming from each of your cylinders, and if it is being muted, altered or silenced by turbocharger (if you have one equipped), your catalytic converters, your resonators, mufflers, and piping size.
I heard a rasp noise or am I hearing things? At a certain rpm does it make a weird noise?
+Victor dARKO Yes you hear rasp only because I removed my catalytic converters. If you leave them in the car, you won't get any. If you have a stock car, and then throw on a cat-back exhaust, you will simply have a different tone from the car, without any raspiness.

Yeah you sure can. You just need to cut off your existing muffler, and then slap the new one on. Piece of cake :)

fake blow off valve attachment on end of exhaust, couple nismo and nos stickers. big fat honda sticker over the tinted upper portion of windshield. fart can exhaust tip from autozone. should give you 120+hp.

Like some others mentioned use wd40 for the hangers even if it cause some premature wear on rubber...better than wasting a whole day trying to remove them if you haven't got a tool

Did you have any lights when you upgraded your exhaust? I'm thinking about getting an aftermarket exhaust but I don't want to throw any lights.
imdarrellkthx No lights nothing. We only changed the system from the secondary catalytic converter-back, and there aren't any sensors or anything back there so you could have taken the exhaust off completely, and you would still not get a Check Engine Light. The only time you MIGHT get a light is if you remove your Catalytic Converters and don't install a defouler.

Maybe around 800-1200? Also it depends if you want a custom exhaust
I'm honestly just looking for something to make it sound better. I was also looking into a CAI but 300 for an intake seems a little redonk to me.. lol
Go with an intake than. You'll be able to hear some very aggressive tones for a fraction of what a full exhaust will cost. 300 for an intake isn't that bad. Look at Gruppe M and find an intake that is less than 500 bucks.. Good luck

Lucas Schaaf on natural rubber it will age it really quick. Look at the ingredients inside of it

it doesnt have a heat rating as far as i know. im no expert, but id say its probably melted off already depending upon how he drives. and hes a kid with a honda, so...probably melted.

+Alejandro Portillo Hey Alejandro!! You by all means can :) When you install the dual exhuast, you will need to buy the hangers for the driver side (because there are none on the i4) but you can install it and make it a dual.

How much will a local exhaust shop charge me if I make them install my exhaust that I bought off eBay
Driftblock350 It all depends on how complex the system is. If its a system for a 350z, just note that it is a dual exhaust which means they have more to install. When I got my exhaust installed 3 years ago, just the cat-back, i think they charged me like 180 bucks, and at that point, I had all of the hardware needed. So I had my cat-back system, the gaskets needed, along with all of the replacement bolts.
How did you change the color of the rings on your tach and speedo?
Adrian Valmores I took out my instrument panel and painted the rings. It took me awhile to get at it but it was worth it

It took me a night to take everything out carefully, paint it, let it dry and cure overnight, and then the following morning I put everything back together. As long as you don't rush anything, you'll be fine. Its an easy DIY if you ask me

How do you fix exhaust leaks?
+It's_A_Daily_Thing It depends where the leak is. Is it a bad weld, is it a bad gasket, or is the pipe cracked / rusted?
Depending if it's in a join, you could just use exhaust paste. Meant to really use it when putting new exhaust systems/ sections on to prevent leaks. If it's a broken pipe, could be welded depending on the severity. Ive done several exhaust changes and repairs (I work at a garage). Hope this helps :)

Its a 2009 i4. My exhaust that I have is a perfect swap for the i4 and the v6
where can i get the one u had the greddy one does the v6 have the same exhaust applications as the i4
Greddy actually discontinued the exhaust however my exhaust, the aftermarket one, is compatible with both the V6 and the inline 4 without any modifications at all
