About the Steve convo.. Yes you can learn the matchup and yes there are several characters that have good Steve counter play type moves, but there is a big difference between an “Elite Smash” level Steve, VS a top player Steve that consistently makes it to top 16 at Major Smash tournaments. The character is absolutely broken no matter what your counter pick is lol. No one has fun against Steve at that level.
Jigglypuff was dominant in melee. Hbox was the top melee player in the world with his puff, ate spacies, shiek amd peach for breakfast. Wanna know what mew2king did? Picked up young link and destroyed hbox consistently with him. A bottom tier was actually good against a top tier.
I love when you read opponents habits like center stage syndrome and how to capitalize off it. Makes myself learn to be a better player and read such habits!
Toon links my only character in elite smash right now and has been my main for years since I started. I wish their was more representation of toon link in the pro scene; tbh the day I see a major win with toon link I’ll be satisfied :)
I think the real reason Steve’s banned is because of how much control he has over the stage. He can use TNT to ledge trap his opponents on one side of the arena while he himself is recovering in the other side using blocks and mine carts.
I try to play against steve with the same mentality. He's going to get his tools no matter what I do so I'd rather just learn to counter the rest of his kit rather than aggressively trying to stop him from mining.
3:53 As nice as your answer was, your past *is* our future. Those who wish to become a full-time streamer/pursue whatever career they choose. The best way to learn about a craft is to ask/copy someone already doing it.
I disagree with you on this one. The question was specifically what my younger self should have known and for me it is pointless to look back in a "what if" scenario. I learned and grew, this was all part of the journey. However, if somebody asks me what tips I have for them to grow a channel and make content, I will give them answers. For me it's important how people ask questions. If they ask what I wish I would have known, then the question is about me. if they ask what they can do to grow, then the question is about them.
Good matches! Yeah, I very rarely see Olimar online as well and I'm in the US. I'm very grateful, though, as I despise fighting him and his army of mutant veggies! I'm curious what characters you see most online? I mean, besides the Kazu-palooza at the beginning of the video. I always run into Samus constantly online.
Steve was banned due to a glitch that lets him cancel hitstun. It has the potential to be very powerful, and since people often kept complaining about Steve, the easy answer was just to drop him from most tournaments
@@115zombies935 We actually don't know how powerful the glitch is. It has the potential to be extremely powerful, but potential is only useful if people apply it correctly. I believe the fear was that top players would start abusing it, but so far, it hasn't been seen once (that we know of)
That bread joke... the move "staled"... so good. Sillintor a thinking man's Smasher.
I don't know, I thought the joke was kinda crumby.
@@travisyee7278 I see what you did there

Who would you say is the best of the Links? Character-wise, gameplay-wise, or both.

Good answer sillin, always looking to the future and trying to improve ❤
You have the courage to flex with all links
By this type of content, I would think this guy has over 300K subs. This guy’s content is seriously underrated, and he needs more subs
Which stream is this from?
Steve was banned because of a glitch that makes him invulnerable to every attack

When
He shouldn't be banned
Yeah, it was a very good thing they banned him. The game was going to lose all its integrity if they didn’t.
