One of my favourite episodes, love the line when Navid says to Isa " Give Dead Willy his box of special k" then Willy "I've got that picture" gets me every time..😅

Still game is one of the best shows out of Scotland ever, no one in Scotland would argue with that.
It will continue to get better, it is unrelenting, You laugh, you cry and you laugh at the absurdity of crying, that's our humour and it is perfectly encapsulated in this show.

I could never get into Rab C for some reason. Was probably too young to enjoy his constant theories.
You know over here in England I watch a few reaction channels and they just fall by the wayside but you dig out all the old comedy stuff we used to watch and it's still very funny. I can remember as a kid watching the two Ronnie's and Benny Hill with my dad and watching him laugh his head off bless him. Anyway keep finding em matey and we'll keep laughing with you this side of the pond 😂
One of my favourite episodes. The pub scene with them all ripping the pish with their invites oh my goodness, Mark Cox and Gavin Mitchell particularly (Tam and Boabby) crack me up each and every time and I'm on maybe a thousand watches. Well feels like I am anyway 😂 keep 'em coming, EB

Glad to have seen your review of this episode - one of the very best. I can't remember having seen a program where there is just so much personal abuse and yet, and at the same time, so much pathos and cultural sensitivity. Brilliant character acting and brilliant stories
I've been watching over night. The punt is intented,is Scottish humour, every person can relate to it because its everyday life. We like to have a laugh and take the mick, no matter how old u are. Everyone can relate to it, if not your life must be boring lol well done I enjoy watching

Stuffed animals and pets isn't really a big thing over here in Scotland. More likely to find deer heads on stands or sets of Antlers but even then its really rare these days.
What part of the country do you live in? Glasgow born and raised and I can say that more people than not have either dogs or cats in every area ive lived in in my life so far! Right enough about the whole antler/deer head thing but its more of a rural thing than a city thing for sure. Not getting at you just wondering if there is a location difference.
I'd say Jack and Victor's "generation" were less keen on animals but then my great gran used to race greyhounds (aye, they were travellers) and each of those dogs were treated better than most of her family were by her hahaha. My nana never had any pets but my mum has had them all my life too and I have a very spoiled dog at my feet currently.
Still game is a very loved show in Scotland. Goes rite back to the 90s with something 'chewin the fat'. All the actors were in it but obviously younger days. Lol yea I don't know how subtitles would work lol ur right, it is already an excellent show, I agree, not that it gets better, it's always great.

Did you know there are two Still Game theme tunes one for the dvd and one for tv the reason for that is copyright issues the theme tune you hear is the dvd theme tune. Also this episode is so funny.

What makes Still Game so good is you can identify with every character. I've noticed that even since you began, that you are being drawn in, and probably can see characters in your own life.
I don't know if it counts for additional views but in my anticipation of another new reaction, I'm finding myself rewatching reactions to get my still game fix. Insane or what lol😂
There is only one canal in Scotland. When I was a guard at Helensburgh, I worked the North Clyde line. The canal was derelict. Those steep locks look to me to be in the Drumchapel area. Maybe near Dalry. They are running well there,
No more than one canal? The locks on this show are probably on the Forth & Clyde Canal in Maryhill, Glasgow, not in Drumchapel, no canal runs through Drumchapel. But there is also the Crinnan Canal, much further north in Argyleshire, which has a series of locks known as Neptune's Staircase.

Can't do that. And all shows outside of Doctor Who will be treated like a tv show. After one season, it's rotated out for another. Once that show is done, it's rotated back in.

If you're looking for something new to watch in great british classic comedy, I can highly recommend "Keeping up appearances". Not quite as great as 'Allo 'Allo, but fairly close.

They messed up when Winston told Jack and victor about willie, he says Issa showed me in the paper but she just told him.

I think Winston meant that Issa had said it was in the (news)papers (therefore, it must be true!). In normal conversation people are often careless about the precision of their language - at least, that is so in my experience here in Glasgow. I find I often have to ask for clarification, or, indeed, give clarification when I have been imprecise. Does everyone you know always say precisely what they MEAN and precisely what they KNOW to be true?

Damn you E.B ! 🤬.....I have been doing my best not to watch you covering Still game as I have been saving the box sets ( of many UK comedy series not politically correct ) and understand in my later years the will be NOTHING on TV to make me laugh anymore apart from the old comedy's. I just cannot resist your smile/laughs/reaction to our comedy because your basically a Brit hiding inside an American body and so addictive/entertaining to watch. 5:12 Error 1: Winston says that Isa showed him that Willy McIntosh died in the paper. But this is incorrect she just told him that he died.
14:51 to 14:57 Error 2: Jack says he was waiting outside the cinema in 1937 waiting to see The Wizard of Oz. But in reality The Wizard of Oz came out in 1939 not 1937.
Pot Hole: If Winston had the keys to Willy's house when he was in the hospital then why didn't Winston not take in the milk & letters that were on the doorstep?
Series 1 has a lot of small noticeable errors
Series 2 onwards definitely improved on this as there aren't as much.
They're old men. Their memory is an error. 😂
