So the family member has to write a letter of invitation for you, stating that they are inviting you to Turkey and they will be providing your accommodation. They will also have to attach their ID and bank statements to support the invitation letter.

You don’t necessarily have to pay for the hotel outrightly, but you should make a reservation that can be confirmed. Also all the documents you need, go with their photocopies. As at the time I traveled, the form was on paper. So there was both to upload. You submit the photocopies with the form, however, they need to see the original copies too.

Yes you can sponsor your unit you have to show proof of work. That’s your income. You may need a letter from your employer to back this up. Don’t forget to get a student status letter from your school. I hope this helps

You may have to Ask them over there in Scotland. I live in England and you could only use Voya Visa for insurance as at the time I applied. So please ask the agents you used. They none able to answer that

Thank you for a well detailed video on how to apply for Turkish visa. I went to London to their consulate just to obtain information but I was being sent from pillar to post. In the end I couldn’t find the place where voya company was. No one gave me clear instructions. In the end I gave up and traveled back home without any info nor visited Turkey. Kindly share the address of where Voya is based so that I can give it another go. It helps when one travels to London with a full address of where one is supposed to be going. I was given a piece of paper with Voya tel number by the 2nd place where I got sent for visa inquiries. I go no where in the end as not even phone calls were being answered. Kindly help with their address. I would like to try again
I’m so sorry to hear that. Their current address is 110 Kingsland road London. Post code is E2 8DP. Put this on your map and you shouldn’t find it difficult. That was how I located their office. If you choose to call them, you may need to stay on the line a while as they may have so many callers to attend to. And it’s best to call in the morning as they are resuming office. Best of luck

During my appointment, they gave me back my passport just before I paid and they said I should expect an email before I can drop my passport off again and then I will be notified when it's ready for collection, was this the same process for you? If your country is eligible for e-visa, then you should. However for those who are not eligible for e-visa, the travel insurance is gotten from their physical office

Not at all. Unless they have changed it now. I submitted my passport on that day and then went back to pick it up when I got a mail that it was ready for collection

Yes, please. Call them. Also keep an eye on your mails including the spam folder. I heard from them on the 4th week after I applied

That’s not a problem. It’s only a problem if your flight date is before the date when your visa starts counting
