I don't know about solo, but me, "hammer main" and my new friend "insect glave main" along with our palicos completed the quest. part of it is learning when to dodge, when to attack, how heavy of an attack you can get away with, and if you can survive trading blows with her. I used the kjarr ice and thunder hammers with a full safi suit, medicine decos and a health regen augment. thunder up was maxed and ice was sitting at 6. if that helps.
What a great run! But what I'm wondering the most about it is: how are you being able to get your mods to work properly? My game wasn't even opening when I had the nativePC and stracker's loader in there, had to delete everything to get the game to work again, hahaha
@@lukafireman righ out of the gate, the Akantor armor and CB are working fine, but the drop and blood fxs aren't working properly, that's because they needed Stracker's Loader to be updated, now they're working properly again
I think you dont need guard 5 or guard up for her, unless you want to block whole lava floor... Everything else can be blocked perfectly with guard 1+ guard point except her body slam attack in area 4 and hand slam in area 3 - they drain all your stamina and still cant be blocked even with guard 5
In phase 1, do you need to attack the mantle only or do you need to focus on the chest first? Also, is it better to go for raw, thunder or fire (to soften the mantle)? I tried all of that with IG, SnS and CB, but never I got to soften her mantle and always she escapes after 5 minutes. F...ing DPS check and hitzones.

I cannot focus enough on the chest to make the mantle melt before she leaves (she attacks and moves around too much), and I fail when I focus on the mantle as both the hitzone and elmzone are crap. I will need to find a way to cheese phase 1 or or I just give up like for Behemoth, A Leshen and Safi. F...ing DPS check. Nice run of yours.
Kulve is so strong that lower levels of guard will make you slide a long distance while guard pointing. Level 5 guard so that he can recover immediately and start attacking again.
The armor is really dissapointing How the set bonus is not something with mantles is beyond me. Since when was KT's thing eating a lot and being gutsy?

Well Wisdom, you are in luck. We got an even more powerful Ice Charge Blade now, so the chances for a Monki and Brachy run just shot up tenfold.

Yeah, I already ditched G5 for G1. At that time I was told G5 is needed for Handslam but as you said, it drains your stamina regardless.

Part break is to prevent Kulve escaping, hitting chest makes her molten. Thunder for Molten Gold, Ice for her body.
