Thank you so much for sharing this! I was considering (and even began) weaning my 11 month old to TTC #2 but this encouraged me to continue breastfeeding!! Should always go with my mama instincts
But you didn't tell us how you conceived while breastfeeding. Something like did you cut night feeding to get your ovulation back...you were just giving us your life story...
Thank you for your feedback! I did cut night feedings one month before I got pregnant, I shared that experience in a separate video, although soon after my daughter was sick and spent about 2 full days constantly feeding right before I got pregnant...so it was very confusing , unfortunately I don’t really know if I was ovulating the previous two month of trying because, as I said in this video, there were other factors...My story and the one main tip I gave in this video is all I have on TTC while nursing 🤷🏼♀️ Good luck to you 💕
When having doubt about whether ovulation takes place or not, it is useful to take basal body temperature daily after sleep on the same time of each day. If the temperature rises 0.2-0.4 degrees C° in the second cycle half, pretty sure ovulation has happened. LH tests cannot indicate ovulation precisely, sometimes LH continues to rise even after ovu for days. Or some have a plateau of high, but not peak LH. Even the temperature rise can vary, from druring to multiple days after the ovulation. Most reliable sign of a beginning fertile window is for me always - egg white cervical mucus or losing mucus plug. Somtimes mid cycle pain on one side is felt before/during/after ovulation. Also, a shorter cycle doesn't always mean you ovulated earlier, the second cycle half can vary from 12-17 days, mine has shortened to about 12 days this summer.
@@Nikky10000 it’s common while breastfeeding for your body to raise some hormones and try to ovulate but fail to do so , keep trying and it will certainly happen when the time is right , try to put that pressure off, when o stopped tracking too much and just enjoyed it , that’s when it happened!
I’m nursing my 3 year old only at night, got my iud out last month and have been TTC for a month now, took an ovulation test and have been trying everyday. Can I still get pregnant if I’m nursing?
You sure can ! Only it will take some time (a few months maybe) for your body to adjust to function without the iud. Also doctors say trying everyday is not as effective as every 2-3 days . Wishing you luck ☺️🤞🏻
My son is 29 months, breasfeeding 3-4 timea durimg the night and maybe 6-7 times during the day. We ttc for 3 months, failed. I really think it's because he nurses too often, otherwise I don't see why it's not happening. Periods are normal, I get positive ovulation tests..
@@valentinaci7888 don’t give up, my husband and I have tried for five months and yesterday I got my BFP (positive) you’ll get there honey, until then, enjoy the journey.
