I'm just getting started and looking at all the channels. This one is by far the best at demonstrating and explaining all the details we need as newbies. Thank you so much!
Thank you mate. I have a ResMed Air Sense 10 Autoset not like the one you show here. This will be my 2mounth on this thing. The first month I was shown how to use it. No problems there once I got home. Was asked to come in for an assessment a few days ago and was told the monitor gave nothing out. Was shown how to program the thing 2 months back with no problem there so I thought, but since nothing was recorded this last round, I begin to think I'd miss understood all earlier. The last 2 nights since coming home has been a utter fk up. Now you know why I'm on here. I have seen how to set the thing up and will try to night see how things go. My mask was changed from a full to one of them small jobs as it seemed the other leaked not fitting my face correctly. Watching one of you guys shows on how to put it on was better than what I was shown at our clinic, so now I can use it with comfit now. If all goes will you may not hear from me again if not well then... I live a good 2hours from my clinic so its more than jump in the truck to drive there these days the way our roads have been giving out with all this rain. Cheers....
I am getting this machine tomorrow and I am a little bit scared… but after seeing your video made me more confidant to be ready. Thank you. I will come back here in a month to update my experience.

When I got my machine six months ago, they gave me no choice no option and didn’t explain how this machine was different than other machines. I have the air since 11 by the way which has a water chamber that totally sucks. can’t get it open without straining your hands and spilling water ..You can’t fill it without it dumping over. Backwards…Totally sucks. Also get an insulating tube for your heated tubing. If you sleep with your room, extremely cold and turn the heat off at night like I do you need that insulating cover for the tube.
Hello mid don’t feel bad when I got my machine 3 years ago they showed me a few things then I went home to my parents house my dad showed me some things but the rest I had to figure out by myself
They explained to me thru video and verbally off course I'm still anxious for my first time use.my first night is horrible. Then after I watch in RUclips explanation, I've learned a lot and better sleep
Is there any kind of connection to the back of the CPAP hose connector that rotates like the CPAP 10 has? I find that it doesn't work very well with the one direction holding in place tubing. I turn the CPAP 11 around with the back to the front so that the hose comes out directly toward my head.
For two nights now, I have been unable to use my Resmed. I tap the start button and it shows the air pressure rising, as usual. Then, when it hits 8.0, it shuts off, no air coming into my mask. What could explain this?
I get my tomorrow - scares the crap out of me, I was told I had to use it for 9 months are the insurance wouldn't pay for it. I just hope there a grace period until I can use it every night, hate to pay 1k for a machine I can't use. Done the sleep test twice once with no mask the next one was with a mask on hated it. Done only 4 four hours. It seem simple and keeping it clean every day wth. I was hoping I can do the nose one. Full mask is hard for me to breath.
If you have trouble getting used to it, ask your doctor if you can try the first month with slightly lower pressure. Many people do this. We have videos on accessing the 'clinical' menu if you want to change it yourself. The biggest thing with CPAP is the mask. Once you find the right mask, it makes it much more pleasant. Massive difference in comfort using a P10 vs F20. But like anything, it takes some practice. Good Luck! - T
I use the N30i mask When I woke up in the morning My clip on the other side of the mask was off, so air was coming out of both sides Also 4 hours the water was all gone Need some help (tips)
I didn't receive all of this information from the therapist when she gave me this cpap machine!😠😡 It's like she was just doing the minimum to get it over with! And I still don't understand....WHY THE WATER...somebody please help me understand that😢😢😢😢
Good luck getting follow up appointments with your "Doctor!" Your equipment supplier will not be very knowlegable either so bone on up on cpap yourself.
Just got mine in. 46 wakes an hr. I don’t know how the hell anybody can sleep with this thing. It’s blowing air in my mouth, drying out my mouth and throat, and makes it 3x as hard to exhale. This POS is liable to eat a wall.
I went back to my doctor because I felt like I was suffocating with the mask. He turned up the pressure from 4 to 10 and now I am able to use it. I can't believe anyone can use it at a low pressure. I was able to try all 3 mask types for a week so that was helpful. Yes, breathing out can be a chore at first but there is also a setting for that, so you might ask your doctor to set it on a lower pressure to ease breathing out. Don't give up as it sounds like you really need to use the machine noting 46 wakes per hour.
