What is the Q value?
This is the percentage success rate of the bidirectional communication between the transmitter and the receiver. The transmitter always expects a confirmation of delivery from the receiver, possibly with added telemetry, in each data frame after dispatching servo positions. The resulting signal quality is calculated from the number of confirmed packets per second.
Simply said, Q signal is backward telemetry. If you have Q = 0, you still control the model without any problem, but the receiver is unable to send the telemetry data back to the transmitter (the receiver has less transmission capability than the main transmitter).
What is the A1 / A2 signal quality?
It is the numerical expression of the signal strength as perceived by the receiver. This value is calculated by the receiver and the transmitter receives it as a telemetry that can be displayed on the display. The number decreases with the distance but does not decrease linearly. It serves only for orientation.
This is an outstanding test. The values on the top left corner of the screen are key. The numbers that range from 2 to 9, indicate the signal strength received by each antenna on the receiver that is on the plane. If these values are 2 or higher, then there are no problems. The third value, which ranges from 0-100% is the quality of bidirectional communication. As long as this value is above 20%, there are no concerns. This value can drop occasionally even to 0% for milliseconds, with no loss of link. The test also showed that, besides having a stable signal, the link was maintained at all times (no failsafe or lost link alarm was triggered). Awesome radio!
Okay so about 1 Km? I take it you are not flying further than that LOS? Have you tested further out to lower signal strength and/or signal quality? Thanks
Hello, I would like you to give me your opinion regarding a problem I have with the DS12 and RSat900. I was trying to link the satellite with the transmitter following the steps you did in your video with the DS24 but the transmitter does not recognize the RSat900. What do you think may be happening? Greetings and thanks for your videos
sorry for my ignorance, but what was the conclusion of the test? I want to buy it but these tests are conclusive to make the decision.
mam tiez problem s nizkym ,presnejsie 0-vym Q,v mojom f5j modely, ako spravne umiestnit anteny? skusal som uz rozne kombinacie...nad zemou cca 100m vo vzdialenosti cca 450m odo mna...bezne lietanie f5j...vies mi poradit?DS16
I have several problems whit the signal on my ds16 . I test the rex7 and clone sat configuration in a closer to city place, the result is incredible bad. Many low signal and a eternal fail safe. Can you suggest me some configuration?
It depend on antennas position in the model and used material (metal, carbon, etc.). I recommend send your probem directory to Jeti email including photos of your plane and all installation in the model.
AK signal Q = 0 model sa neda riadit......
I had to take off those SF knobs, they get in the way of your fingers if you are a pincher..and what the shit deal with the blurred out stufff.
What is the setting of the Q value threshold for weak signal warnings?
2-3 i guess
Jednu věc nechápu. Jak je možné vidět model této velikosti na kilometr? Eyes like a hawk... Respect! 😉
Kolik má to éro rozpětí? Já se pamatuju, že když jsem lítal se starým Asterixem (RCV2), tak okolo 500 m už jsem měl problém to éro uhlídat na obloze. Ale pravda, byla to jasná obloha bez mráčku. :)
@@libor-vitek Na videu je testovací letadlo "Vozembouch" o rozpětí 2,5 metru a letová váha 4,3 Kg. Akumulátory Li-Ion 6S4P.
