    Lyles gets attention not because he won gold, its because he talks about his goals the most and that brings him attention and he also talks the most about breaking Usain Bolt WR. Whether he breaks those records the attention is on him because ppl want to see, I believe this is marketing strategy and it's working for him.

    • @GladwinAbel
      @GladwinAbel 7 месяцев назад

      People are also not likely that and thinks he’s egotistical and arrogant. Bolt was given a past because he 9/10 times always won so dancing before a race was not criticized in fact people expected him to do that. Lyles hyped himself up and got a bronze at that one race and his fans turned on him. He needs to be careful

    • @GraceandFavour2024
      @GraceandFavour2024 7 месяцев назад

      @GladwinAbel I also thinks that in real life he is arrogant and egotistical and I also think that some of the things he does before races is not to hype himself up but sometimes it really to intimidate his competitors. Also generally people don't like Noah Lyles but as I said before because he talks the most about Bolt's WR it brings media attention to him.

    • @vernonfrance2974

      Lyles is humble and sportsmanlike, congratulating his rivals win, lose or draw unlike Tebogo. Sometimes Tebogo taunts his lesser opponents, slowing down, waving his arms or pointing at them. He did not do that when Lyles and Knighton were beating him and they'll teach him to respect his elders. OOPS! Knighton is six months younger and still beats Tebogo.

    The way Tebogo closed in on Noah towards the end of that 200m from lane 9 was crazy. Makes me wonder how much faster he can run especially with a better lane draw. He seems to always get the last lane?? Unusual? Is he asking for that? Or are they trying to hold back his talent and shine

    The Lyles disrespect is wild. Saying that Tebogo will eat Lyles in the 200m isn't just a crazy take, it is downright idiotic.
    This panelist are incredibly stupid. Of course noah lyles strongest event is the 200m. Based on time, He is top 3 all time in the 200m. He barely cracks the top 15 in the 100m.

      It's not disrespect -- they are simply recognizing Tebogo's raw talent. Prodigious talent looks idiotic and disrespectful, but you can't stop it. Bolt broke the world record in Beijing in an idiotic manner. Bolt destroyed Tyson Gay's 10.71 in Berlin in a disrespectful manner. Young Tebogo grabbed Africa's first Championship medals last year (before 30-year-old Simbine and 27-year-old Omanyala) in an idiotic manner, but it's just talent.

      @johnsonanum lol keep dreaming. Tebpgo is an all time talent but he is not there yet. Lyles is another level

      @@afrobuddy4801 This is an Olympic year. It will bring out the best in all athletes representing their countries. Sha'Carri is another prodigy who is "not there yet", but the US Olympic Trials will push her there. Same thing with Tebogo -- he tasted international medals last year (and the financial reward that came with them), and he'll be hungry for more this year, especially with World Athletics' recent announcement of huge cash bonuses for Olympic gold medallists. You'll see.

    I am a motswana.Tebogo is good but Noah is one of the greatest. I don't think Tebogo can beat Noah

      I agree. The fact that people are even arguing this point is insane. Lyles winning the 200m is a foregone conclusion, similar to Shericka on the women side.

      Tebogo might could take Noah if Noah runs the double and tebogo only the 200.
