I'm surprised that there's no mention of dog deaths and cat deaths. In TS2, the Grim Reaper grabs a stick for a quick game of Fetch, teases the dog with it for a moment, then throws the stick skyward into Doggie Heaven (or just plain Heaven, or whatever), and the dog flies up after it. For cats, it's a catnip mouse instead of a stick. Both are pretty sad to watch. :-(

Run with the scissors, die, have the other Sim stop the Grim Reaper and save your fate-tempting Sim, and presto! 8,000 Aspiration Points! Thank you, giant pair of scissors which kill Sims through Fright somehow! :-D
I like how grim showed up for the girl passing on her knowledge to the pc, and grim showed up like 30 seconds before she passed and he’s like “yup, i saw that coming”
They should’ve had it where when Grim comes for the body, he looks around like “What the? Where are they?”, proceeds to look down, only to find the fallen vending machine. He lifts it with one hand to check underneath and sees the sim, goes “ Oh! There they are!”, lifts the machine the rest of the way with one hand back to its upright position (because he’s the Grim Reaper, he can do that lol), then continues on Reaping as per usual. There. Problem solved. (and in a sim-like way too) :)

@@moon0966 Okay, i just did a translation of that guys name. I am so sorry. That person is so so tacist and rude
This just made me want to download the Sims 2 with all the expansion packs. I was replaying it about a year ago, and after you get used to the needs dropping much more quickly, it's so much fun to play it again.
*runs with scissors* "John is healthy again!" John: Instantly dies.
The hysterical death animation is actually creepy at the end the way they smile as they die ;-;
That’s how my sim Annie died
Yea it kinda reminds me of Joker’s death in I believe a Batman video game.
The noise they make is also terrifying.
I like how calm and playful the music is while everyone dies.
Sim: *dying*
The other sim that came out of nowhere: guess ill cry
I’m so glad they brought the death by flies back in the Sims 4. That death is so iconic.
I’m just wondering if the fright death is coming back
I’d imagine it would be more like an Emotion based death, since they brought in the Scared mood.
So… if your sim becomes too scared, they may end up working themselves into a panicked meltdown, and like in the sims 2, feel their pulse before they drop over and die
in TS2 long time ago, my Sim died because she was cuddling with Christmas electric reindeer decoraction and I found it really strange :D
iM DIEDDDD😂😂
Okay Now I have to find out. I thought they were just pure deco!
CelliDoesStuff Also xmas trees catch on fire
I somehow forget every time! It's like - oh crap, crispy! Crispy...ooh cute raindeer, let's pet it!
yeeeee omg almost forgot that cursed reindeer lmao
I like how the lady starts crying before he’s even dead
That horse death is beautiful. 😢
Imagine if you were the horse 🧐🤔
I'm surprised that there's no mention of dog deaths and cat deaths. In TS2, the Grim Reaper grabs a stick for a quick game of Fetch, teases the dog with it for a moment, then throws the stick skyward into Doggie Heaven (or just plain Heaven, or whatever), and the dog flies up after it. For cats, it's a catnip mouse instead of a stick. Both are pretty sad to watch. :-(
@@BloodyBay 🥺 I have no words. That's beautiful.

@@horrorjunky4life50 it was sad bc I didnt save :( lost a lot of progress
Not me
I still play TS2 to this day. I have the Running with Scissors Playset, and it's a _great_ way to satisfy those "Be Saved from Death" Wants that Knowledge Sims get all the time. Just be sure to have another controllable Sim who likes or loves that Sim _very_ much at the ready. Run with the scissors, die, have the other Sim stop the Grim Reaper and save your fate-tempting Sim, and presto! 8,000 Aspiration Points! Thank you, giant pair of scissors which kill Sims through Fright somehow! :-D
"John is healthy again!"
*proceeds to die by scissors*
I like how grim showed up for the girl passing on her knowledge to the pc, and grim showed up like 30 seconds before she passed and he’s like “yup, i saw that coming”
5:04 The vending machine can get up by itself...
There are hatefull spirits inside :O
Ikr
They should’ve had it where when Grim comes for the body, he looks around like “What the? Where are they?”, proceeds to look down, only to find the fallen vending machine. He lifts it with one hand to check underneath and sees the sim, goes “ Oh! There they are!”, lifts the machine the rest of the way with one hand back to its upright position (because he’s the Grim Reaper, he can do that lol), then continues on Reaping as per usual. There. Problem solved. (and in a sim-like way too) :)
It's aliveee!!!
Those vending machines are assholes!
SPOILERS:
The Strangerville mother plant animation was saddening.
Like, she was about to escape but got physically shoved down further.
Strangerville spoilers XD
@@FavenCitruss yeah
But its true that it actually makes me sad :(
ArtsyGemstone Oh, that’s what that flower is. I have StrangerVille and haven’t gotten there yet
Lol
I love how in death by fright in sims2 and death by overexertion in sims4, they check their pulse before curling up to die
"Oh man, I'm dying! Better check my pulse."
The sims 4 death by heat animation is terrifying. The fact that they realise they are about to die of heat and desperately try to fan themselves with their hands before they die
10:26 no one's talking about how fucking funny the running animation is?
I only got to play The Sims, the original game and the complete expansion pack, and as a kid and even to this day, I don't think I've explored everything in that game.
And then here I am hearing that 'Sims can die from cheering their employees on but if their needs aren't met, they die' and I just think 'wow. We have reached peak imagination.'
😂
🎶“Come with me… and you’ll be… in a woooorld of pure imagination”🎶 Sorry I felt the need to do that.
4:49 Is it just me or was that death way more quiet than it normally is?
Imo 2:32 death is the most graphic since you can see the sim reacting to being struck in the head multiple times

I remember that once i made a single person family and moved into a "haunted house" with the vampire DLC (dead trees outside, gothic architecture, etc)
The thing is, i didn't know it was ACTUALLY haunted and that there was a basement with a urn in it, one night (irl) i was playing calmly, it was nightime in the game too, it was dead silent and the sim went to grab a book so i just kept him zoomed in, suddenly a ghost hiding in the bookshelf jumps at him and not only did she died, but i fell backwards and nearly ripped my earphone's cord
And that was the last time i played cuz i got the Sims 3 shortly after
Oh my ! I remember when I was younger, I sent my sims to the restaurant. All of a sudden, a shadow appeared above his head. The sims of the city were running and pointing the sky. I was really wondering what was going on, but I didn't moved my sims. And then he was crashed. I was so shocked.
Then I made my only sims still alive collect the meteorite pieces and sell them at the science building.
At least something good came out of it lol
@@TheRedPlumbob Yes exactly ! Anyway the sims who died cheated on his wife, so serve him right !
I was boringly obsessed with keeping my Sims alive and happy so watching this video was a joy. Thank you for all your hard work!
2:05 I really felt what he said during the “rally forth”!
9:11 When I explain the same thing by the eleventh time to the same person and he/she still don't get it.
3:20 I had a family of 6 children once and 4 of them were outside on the jungle gym when that shadow appeared. Only 2 of them were able to get off in time (you know how long it takes for them to stop and they have to slide down the pole 1 by 1). So the other 2 got crushed. It was depressing and I hadn't saved in a while so I couldn't even go back. So I adopted two to replace them 😭😂
Deya Luv that’s so upsetting
I had no idea that the game would kill kids. That is some wicked programing.
@@horrorjunky4life50 yeah children can die, there are some deaths they can't die from like the jelly beans but that was the first time I ever came across a meteor death in the 12 years I've been playing. It was a huge shock and ever since then I don't allow them to play outside at night.
@@horrorjunky4life50 Yeah, Apparently the meteor kills kids (I didn't know) and Children can die from fire in Sims 4, so unless you're pregnant or A baby/toddler you'll die in a housefire
Apparently meteors can hit certain rabbitholes as well (including schools) and will kill every Sim inside
My absolute favorite is Death by Ranting. That’s how I expect to die someday.
7:51 In real life, pufferfish also is dangerous. If you want to cook it, you need to be a skilled cooker (obviously in real life), otherwise you 'll die.

You would think maybe a malfunctioning sentrybot would kill your sim instead but it's always the ones you least expect.
They say the jellybean death in TS3 is extremely rare, every time one of my Sims eats one of those they die instantly I have to get someone else in the household to feed the Ambrosia
The Red Plumbob: this video has the most ressurections
Grim Reaper: I don't get paid enough for this
When I was playing sims 3, my sims were having a wedding at the beach and suddenly the meteor decided to show up unannounced, killing half of the guests including the bride.
I also remember in World Adventure, my siblings and I were adventuring through the tombs and a mummy came out. We had cheats on so my brother just deleted the mummy. And there was another time my sister got mad a mummy beated her sim so she had her sim do martial arts all day until he became a black belt. Later her sim was exploring the tomb and encountered a mummy and, despite having a black belt in martial art, he lost a fight with the mummy.
I am sorry for your sims loss of his wife/Fiance
Is the meteor in sims 4
candygloss unfortunately it is not. I kinda wish they chose a different falling object death, I don’t know what it would be but it would continue the tradition of randomness and danger that the satellite and meteor had.
