My daughter enjoyed it. It was our first time ever leaving her with a complete stranger. When we went to check on her, she pushed us away. She LOVED the LOUD music and dancing in her chair with others like her. Thank you Christ's Church and Tim Teabow Foundation for making our daughter feeling "normal" and loved by he world for the night.
That was the sweetest, most touching video about Tim Tebow's uplifting, self esteem building, world-wide NIGHT TO SHINE. Some people just truly make the world a better place and so I just had to comment - great job to all the people involved!!!
We've shown this highlight video several times at our church along with the 2017 event promo. Every time we show this is gets a big round of applause. The church is excited to host the Night to Shine for the first time in a couple of weeks and see how much fun all of our guests will have being honored! God is going to make it awesome!!
what amazes me about Tim Tebow is how joyful and kind he is! He is a man on a mission. What he shows by how he lives is so uplifting. It is living proof of joyful Christian life without being preachy or churchy.
I can not express how much it meant to watch our daughter, Brittany and her friends shine. This event gave the chance for each attendee to be themselves. Without judgement. Without boundaries. To feel special and independant aside from their individual needs. A SAFE PLACE AND EVENT! With support from all the wonderful volunteers that assisted our daughter thru a wonderful greeting, pictures, make-up, being crowned, helping her get food and cutting it up and bathroom stops. Allowing us parents and caregivers to watch with joyful tears. I want to thank all that were involved from the start to the end of the evening.

Jenny god came to set you free. God loves you so much, he came to bring you out if captivity into his light of love redemption and acceptance. He calls you chosen, accepted, valued. Your life doesn't have to be twisted anymore, by dying in the cross and by his shed blood he says that by his stripes you are healed. Cry out to him jen.
You are an amazing person, Tim. You truly see with the eye's of Christ and extend His hand of love, compassion, and affirmation to these kids. Your life has been a blessing to the world. Thank God for you.
I honestly was afraid of special needs "medical foster children" that my friend has in her care. I was afraid because I didn't want to hurt them. Then my son entered the state system and I started having autistic symptoms after 3 1/2 years of our separation. it was just enough to alter my personal training to my special need and to educate myself on adult autism and the spectrum disorder. The distance from love is what exacerbates the symptoms. So... if I teach love and let go of fear' then it's win win!
Tim, hey its tab I have a prayer request. Friday I'm going back to the doctor yet again for on and off pain in my right wrist. For 4 years I,ve been battling tennis elbow, inpinchment of the shoulder and now this. I want to walk in there without fear even if god chooses not to heal me I want gods purposes to be done.

I have autism spectrum disorders but I'd never attend an event like this for recognition or for fun. Everything would be way too overwhelming for me: the buddies, the attention, the press, all the people who I don't even know. I definitely wouldn't be a happy camper at this event.
