For 19 years Dearly Beloved has been the title screen music for KH, the instrumentation changes a bit every time, and while it's always a happy tune, it is distinctly *not energetic*, then this comes along, and flips that completely on it's head. I can't believe that after a decade of playing these games, Yoko can still make new versions of this track that hit me in the feelings. Love this track!

I love how, with the progression of the story, Dearly Beloved gets more and more positive and energetic. The first versions felt really nostalgic and kinda sad, while the new ones are still nostalgic because they take me back to happier times when I was a little kid playing the first game, but are also able to put a smile on my face. The "Throne" simbolism is starting to get a way more used than I expected But, if we assume that this is the same throne as Sora's with just some minor design differences, than the idea is that Sora's now gone, the throne's empty, and Kairi is sitting in it as a way to cope with Sora's loss, staying there and remembering the good momments they had If that's a different throne, than it becomes more simple, it could be kinda of a "queen's throne" or something, Idk

Nobody in my life could share this experience with me, it's reliant on the emotional weight of Kingdom Hearts and Dearly Beloved rooted in my childhood, coupled with the love I have for big band music. This version of the title theme just gives me the mental image of Sora taking Kairi dancing on their first date. ...is that what Kairi is dreaming of while sitting on that throne with that smile on her face?
It's beautiful. Oddly enough it reminds me of old diner music. Like something you'd dress up nice and go dance to. This version hits the heart in a whole new way.
Though I imagine most people noticed, I find it cute that the three Sora pictures are him smiling at Kairi from the end of the numbered KH games. One up top is KH1 when the End of the World is collapsing. The one to the left of the chair is the end of KH2 when Riku and Sora get back to destiny islands. The one in the bottom right is the end of KH3 and them sitting on the tree (technically that one could be right before the final battle, but it being right before the Thanos snap makes more sense to me)

I’ve been with kingdom hearts since I was 5-6 years old, and hearing this at 22, made me so emotional, I’m so glad I never fell out of the series. It’s helped me with life
I've seen the fan base grow more and more toxic over the years. So many different complaints about not being what they want or being too complicated. But the one thing I've NEVER seen a complaint about is the music. Yoko Shimomura is the one thing we can all agree on and now we're getting a game dedicated to her work. Totally worth the full price for me! 👌👌
This makes my eyes water so much. It's just.. The original is filled to the brim with sadness, and it's present in all three games. Here, after Kingdom Hearts 3 as come and gone, it's an uplifting tune and I cannot help but feel bittersweet happiness and sadness at the same time. It's so incredibly profound, having this song be happy. Like everything they all went through really did end well. It's absolutely beautiful.

This version of the title theme just gives me the mental image of Sora taking Kairi dancing on their first date.

It's beautiful. Oddly enough it reminds me of old diner music. Like something you'd dress up nice and go dance to. This version hits the heart in a whole new way.

Though I imagine most people noticed, I find it cute that the three Sora pictures are him smiling at Kairi from the end of the numbered KH games. One up top is KH1 when the End of the World is collapsing. The one to the left of the chair is the end of KH2 when Riku and Sora get back to destiny islands. The one in the bottom right is the end of KH3 and them sitting on the tree (technically that one could be right before the final battle, but it being right before the Thanos snap makes more sense to me)

I've seen the fan base grow more and more toxic over the years. So many different complaints about not being what they want or being too complicated. But the one thing I've NEVER seen a complaint about is the music. Yoko Shimomura is the one thing we can all agree on and now we're getting a game dedicated to her work. Totally worth the full price for me! 👌👌

This makes my eyes water so much. It's just.. The original is filled to the brim with sadness, and it's present in all three games. Here, after Kingdom Hearts 3 as come and gone, it's an uplifting tune and I cannot help but feel bittersweet happiness and sadness at the same time. It's so incredibly profound, having this song be happy. Like everything they all went through really did end well. It's absolutely beautiful.
