To me I find this ridiculous. I have been involved in the auction trade for 50 years give or take. Online sales is ok, but one can't hold the item to see if it has any flaws or something special about it. There is chaos in the attic. You can't be seriously thinking of holding an auction from what one can see. There's too much liability. You don't want that. This to me sounds like a consignment auction which isn't an auction. Sorry , but
Whenever I watch this type of treasure hunting video..and I do enjoy them...I just want to shoot out: "GET BANANA BOXES AND FILL THEM AS YOU GO!!!". Especially with the Roseville and artwork. The less often theses items get moved around, the better the chances of them living a new, undamaged life. Plus it will save you a ton of time in processing them. Good luck with this adventure.
Have you ever watched Couriosity Incorporated? His name is Alex and he has a shop in Canada. He buys houses full of stuff. One time he bought one where the lady that had owned it was a piano teacher. The things he found in there was mind blowing. He found 1500 dollars in a glass in a cupboard in the kitchen and a 90 ounce bar of silver rapped in a cloth and it was under a mattress in a bedroom. In the basement there must have been over 100 full length fur coats. He sold the coats for more than he paid for the whole house full of stuff. Alex and his family are truly awesome people.
its so so very strange ,they brought so much but did open most of them why ,i love watching u going through all of everything ,wish i could do that, thank u for showing us
That doll you found that says take my hand I'll walk with you. It's from the 1960s, I had one actually like it. When you found it brought back memories.
At Christmas time we always needed boxes to wrap gifts at Christmas. The stores actually gave away nice boxes for free mind you and in many cases free gift wrapping at the department store imagine that
Hi Rob and son. Your son does a wonderful job. Such a lovely video, full of beautiful memories and treasures. There are so many items that bring back memories for me. I love watching your videos never a ugly word, swearing etc. much appreciated from a UK watcher of 69 yrs of age. ( house and I almost the same age. LOL) Thank you 😊
when you come into these types of houses and apartments where the owner of the stuff has past on or been moved into a care home if they lived through the recession they do keep everything .......... i remember my grandma would order all kinds of things in bulk so that she could give the stuff away as presents for Christmas or Birthdays and she would not have to go out and shop she would just go and wrap something up
Amazing Vintage Treasure ..I See That Hi bouncing ball on Ebay going for $100 unopened.WOW & many other Treasures On Ebay Sold for High Dollars..Amazing Treasure Rob..I Enjoyed Watching All That Vintage In the Video.
WOW! So many great finds ! I hope he made a fortune! Looks like a job , If anything great memories with the son 🥰 I'm 55 and I had a doll similar to that first doll when I was 5 ❤
Gr8 find's Rob.. This place is loaded with all kinds of goodies.. The attic alone is full of NOS vintage goodness and more money money.. Stay safe all..👍💕🔥⚾😷
I collect barbie and Ken dolls and the male doll in the box is an original Ken doll. You were right. I wish I had your job. I love old toys and vintage items.
It looks like this lady kept every gift she was given and never wore any of it. This is crazy! The vintage linens are making me wish I could help you go thru this house! I think I need to start cleaning out old houses!
This is my first time looking at you channel. Please keep us up to date when you might put theses things up for auction please. I’m interested in a few items. Yes, I did subscribe !
This video gives me flashbacks to cleaning out our parents 5 bedroom, 3 story house, plus the garage attic. They had lived there since 1959 and I don't think they ever threw anything away. Lol.
Very large orb that is way bigger than the usual dust in videos. at 2:00 As soon as you pull some of the things out, I can tell it is from my childhood.
Everything in the house will be up for an online auction at www.2ndcents.com, hopefully in April. You will be able to bid and see what everything sells for
Yes, this house is a true time capsule. I will be releasing more videos from the house over the weekend. Thanks for subscribing, I appreciate your support
So when you find stuff that you know is valuable, like the pottery, do you auction it all off or sell that stuff to Roseville collectors separately? Just wondering. And when you have an auction, is there a way people can bid, like w/ a sealed bid, in advance?
Time capsule for sure. Wouldn't it be cool if you could make a museum type house done entirely from these vintage keeps? Disneyland had a display of Walt Disney's original office!!!! Using all of his very own item's. Imagine....... WHAT IF. Hollywood was interested in giving you money for such vintage items for a movie 🍿 set? Wouldn't that be cool?
This place is wild, boy you got your work cut out for you. It took three days for my auctioneer to just get my husband's collections out for a auction at my house so I can only imagine how long it will take you to get everything out and sorted then sell, all I can say is WOW!
Reach out to movie prop studio they will buy the vintage items for props for movies my friend had some old food boxes and they bought them for a really good price
A lot of people shopped through out the year for Christmas and birthday gifts and forgot what they bought. By the time they come across the items in their hiding spots the kid is to old for the toys.
so is this a clean out where you get the contents or are you simply doing a picking. are these yours when you pull it or are these items the sons and you put it up for auction. seems like you are doing a lot of work if the items you find remain as property of the son.
I would venture to say that you will run across things way older than the folks who died in this little house.lots of all American history of the family in there.
These people look like they maybe had small business at some point in the seventy years see orbs around now and them they stand out from the dust brighter looking
Son please think about your health...I saw on another video someone said the same thing...rat droppings #1 can be deadly. In this video you have gloves , other video no gloves and then no mask. I seriously know we dispise masks but your risking your health
Reminds me of our attic back in Lyndhurst. We had the same brown metal cabinet! But not all the toys and boxes of stuff! We had lots of depression stuff, as you never thru anything away.☮️💟🤡

Wow! I'm sure any vintage, rockabilly lady's clothing store would jump on all those well kept and preserved clothes!
It looks like this lady kept every gift she was given and never wore any of it. This is crazy! The vintage linens are making me wish I could help you go thru this house! I think I need to start cleaning out old houses!
You found my old highschool alarm clock ⏰! LOL 😆😂
What a mess LOL I'd be so overwhelmed. My mom would be like you excited about it. The thrill of the hunt
Man I would love to dig through that stuff.. Nice to know you son was through camera dude...awesome job !,

Strange I saw that also. Yesterday's video had a few also. Rob seams to be attracting them to him. 🤔
Yes, spirits love me
I will have to check it out
@19:14 I think "Ted" was wearing a toga! Roman garb! Very interesting stuff to go through! Is there going to be a garage
to go through?
Yes, but the garage isn't that full. However, we have the 1st floor & basement 😁
Amazing finds. I wish you would make a video showing how much you sold a lot of the items for. Especially all the newly packaged toys
Everything in the house will be up for an online auction at www.2ndcents.com, hopefully in April. You will be able to bid and see what everything sells for
Love beads are groovy. I used to make things out of them in the 60s and sell them.
Great stuff!
Thanks Nola
Waw awesome 👌
I remember those toys from the 60’s. Wow !
love the items you have found so far.
That is an amazing time capsule.
You have a spinning wheel, the piece that you thought had a sink in it was the bottom part and the wheel 🛞 was the spinning part.
I waited for it to happen then at the end,Rob finds a train! LOL The smallest train yet
🤣😂🤣
Amazing finds!
Hi Rob and son
That is amazing.
I had a travel alarm like that 50 years ago!
@12:43 - if that's a tablecloth it's from the 50's. My mom use to have one exactly like that.
Yes, this place is packed with vintage goodness Grandma J
Spinning wheel cool
Omg that’s nice
This place is loaded with vintage goodness
My question is do you sort through everything and lot up all the buttons and all the dolls and all the perfume ect or just random lotsc
When Mattel made Barbie, Ideal made the Tammy doll. my grandmother bought me the Tammy doll because Barbie "flaunted" too much
Thanks for the information, I appreciate it
OMG I soooo wish I could dig around that house! That would be like a dream come true! Btw new subscriber ☺️
Yes, this house is a true time capsule. I will be releasing more videos from the house over the weekend. Thanks for subscribing, I appreciate your support
That wheel and sink goes together and becomes a spinning wheel ornament for a side table..

Yes, definitely a lot of work
ted goes with Pepper.. same doll family pretty sure the clothes are the same doll family too.. not quite as good as barbie but close
Thanks for the information, I always appreciate it
When your son talks he sounds like my sister til the Dr clipped her tongue enjoy seeing things you’re finding in that house
Reach out to movie prop studio they will buy the vintage items for props for movies my friend had some old food boxes and they bought them for a really good price
It's like the person who owned the house and hoarded all the endless amounts of items was saving them for YOU!
Overwhelming
When will this stuff go up for auction?
I am not exactly sure yet, I hope by April
Do u have a site were u can buy your locker stuff
Yes, everything goes through my auctions at www.2ndcents.com
You know how to find them.
Your going to need a warehouse just to sort this stuff !! Good luck 🤞 😳👍😁🙏🙋♀️🇨🇦🇨🇦
Yes, it is going to take some time, I think I will do a before and after video
On a rough guesstimate, what do you think all that is worth. To me it's priceless.
I'm not sure yet, but I am auctioning off everything in the house, so I will find out
I sure would like to dig around with you.😀
A lot of people shopped through out the year for Christmas and birthday gifts and forgot what they bought. By the time they come across the items in their hiding spots the kid is to old for the toys.
But you do need to dig through a lot of trash to find the diamonds in the rough AND you are very good at that
Yes, definitely have to move some dirt to find GOLD
Check out the buttons, don’t throw them away, some are worth money!
so is this a clean out where you get the contents or are you simply doing a picking. are these yours when you pull it or are these items the sons and you put it up for auction. seems like you are doing a lot of work if the items you find remain as property of the son.
I am conducting an online auction on 5/21/22 at www.2ndcents.com

Son please think about your health...I saw on another video someone said the same thing...rat droppings #1 can be deadly. In this video you have gloves , other video no gloves and then no mask. I seriously know we dispise masks but your risking your health
with obvious proof of active rodents, how did they not destroy packages to get at all the food items you're finding
I was thinking the same thing, I guess they were using other food sources
Too much mice stuff
No utilities. Pack up then sort. You're taking everything so move
I am actually going to catalog, photo & have auction pickup at the house.
I just kept fast forwarding through all the BORING CRAPPITY CRAP! TEDIOUS and rediculous!
Reminds me of our attic back in Lyndhurst. We had the same brown metal cabinet! But not all the toys and boxes of stuff! We had lots of depression stuff, as you never thru anything away.☮️💟🤡
