so he was (in no particular order): a director, actor, singer, acrobat, dancer, gag writer, stuntman, lover... AND he was "one of the most beautiful people ever to be photographed" (Orson Welles) AND a very nice guy!! what more can one ask for? a time machine to go back to 20's L.A.
Boy, he could have played about ANY role in movies from romantic lead to villian to song 'n dance man! The more I learn about Buster, the more amazed and excited I get about just HOW darn talented he was! On top of all that, I've heard that overall he was a really nice guy in real life, too. To echo the sentiment of other Keaton fans, "I was born WAY too late!" lol
He is just as multi talented as they get a true-immortal. I had the distinct honor of meeting his nephew in Michigan. Even those who share Busters DNA are warm, welcoming, and a delightful.
oh my darling....not even breathing hard...his talent just rockets out even when he is down. There was nobody like him. I was born too late. Thank you for this!!
I just saw "The Garage" for the first time not long after seeing this clip - and lo and behold, there was the first occurrence of Buster's Scottish dance! If only I had a time machine and about $50 million - I'd give Buster a bunch of it and say, "Here! Tell MGM to kiss your ass and go become an independent filmmaker again!" :-)
There's a little mistake : the last dance was a czardas and Buster performed a russian dance. But I don't blame him for that : he's still an excellent dancer.

No matter what he does, he always owns the screen. The legendary Buster Keaton.
Few things make me laugh out loud. This does. No matter how many times I watch. Buster, you remain the best.

Buster Keaton was very fit and had been training his body for anything from the age of 4.
But yet died of lung cancer!! Smh
Solid lean muscle and a ballet dancer’s balance! Incredible
The most original and the very best of all the great comedians. He was way ahead of his time just brilliant ..!!!
Aww... well, thank you! Buster was just PRICELESS!! :-)

The opening scene reminds me of the Christopher Walken video, dancing to fatboy slim.
