Woodturning - A Bowling Bowl !! 🎳

Welcome to today's woodturning video.

In this woodworking video I use a woodturning lathe to turn items into decorative finished pieces.
When woodturning a piece like I find it important to nibble away at it until I see what shape the wood wants to be, this is what is so enjoyable about woodturning.

I once made a table lamp out of a bowling pin, would love to see a table lamp made out a bowling ball. Just a thought or maybe a challenge. Cheers

How heavy was the ball? I did not see a weight block inside the ball. Low weight balls do not have an additional weight block inside as 16 to 12 pound balls

Why did you shave off the outer at all just to polish it up??
