We, Nikko Saru Gundan, are an organization that inherits Saru Mawashi (monkey shows.) The monkey show is a traditional performing art that has been passed down since ancient times in Japan, from about 1000 years ago, where humans and monkeys dance at a special occasion in all year. Monkeys are our greatest partner and carry out various conservation activities. The parents of the baby monkeys in this video are the children who were exterminated to prevent monkey damage, and we are raising them as parents.
