Unfortunately I didn't have enough time or the ammo to do a proper accuracy test with it. From what I have seen from other sources it's "battle accurate". About in line with a good AR-10 or so. Obviously your mileage may vary.
I'm not sure but comparing pictures I'd venture toward "no" but I would suggest asking Robinson Armament to get confirmation before making any purchases.
It's not an option on their website for the M Competition model but yes I have had multiple people tell me that it is possible by contacting Robinson Armament directly. Thanks!

This gun is cool. Wonder how accurate are the groups you're getting? Also would be neat to compare with the SCAR and the ACR.

Not 100% sure since it's not mine. It's either the 18.6" or 20" light barrel.
