Just found this video. THANK YOU, I have to write one for my new job and I was honestly clueless on some of details. I wish he explained it like this. You made it simple, thank you so much.
A very good summary and tips to include in any RFP. very well explained RFP including statement of purpose, background information, scope of work, outcome and performance standards, list of deliverables with their dates, terms and condition, requirement of proposal.
Great video, very useful to help explain tendering to beginners. One nit-pic (that shows I've been teaching English too long) -- spelling mistake in on-screen heading at 7:39 "Preperation" should be "Preparation."
How did we move from all those beautiful travel videos to a request for proposal :D Just kidding! I have a client who is operating in this space and it was a pleasant surprise that after seeing all those prague, paris, rome videos, I was directed to a RFP video. Thank you for all that you do.
hey, thanks for the upload, quick suggestion, maybe try throwing a limiter and some compression on your audio channel, it could cut out static and echo and make the listening easier. also maybe record in a smaller room. i'm nitpicking but that's my two cents!
Hi Mark. One question: what platforms do companies usually use to post RFPs? Is Linkedin a common platform, or are there web forum's specifically for B2B transactions?
so can i say if i want to have fruits for my snack bars, i would list out my requests such as least costly production fee as possible, the supplier's location as near as possible, and short delivery time. And put all this requests in a proposal and submit to the chosen suppliers and see which supplier has the potential to meet these requests? and i would choose the supplier that can meet these requests. is this correct? thanks
Please pray that the son of God is blessed with peace and safety and quiet Immediately and automatically and permanently THANK YOU. Thank you all for all your Loving PRAYERS. Please spread the holy word THANK YOU.
I disagree with the overall premise of this video. By following these tips, you are putting yourself in a position of weakness with the vendors. Buyers cannot be experts in all commodities. A novice attempting to establish standards and missing the mark becomes more of a negative. You may be leaving things on the table you could have gotten, you might be creating an unfair bidding situation, etc.

What would your tips be then?
