- This is the way you can replace Sony android 55 inches tv's main board with 65 inches or 75 inches main board. The model series should be matched and a firmware install is necessary to get it working. I replaced sony bravia KD-55X8500E tv's bad main board with KD-75X8500E. It works with KD-65X8500E also.
I have experience with replacing some other bravia android seris as well. Example models : KDL-65W850C/KDL-75W850C

Hello, thank you very much for such a clear video. I have a Sony XBR-75X850D (I am in the US). The screen is perfect, but the HDMI ports are not working, (this happened after a storm). I am able to stream perfectly using the internal smart tv app, but receive the “No Signal. Check the external input or select another input using the INPUT button”. Do you think replacement of the main board will fix the HDMI ports? Thank you. Chet
Thats fantastic. My Sony KD55X8000H mainboard is probably not working. So I can try using KD65X8000H or 75X8000H right? As long as the size is bigger than 55 & the latter part (8000H) is the same?
What if the KD-65X8500E main board is replaced with the KD-75X8500E main board? is it same ? as explained in this video.

Note that it has 3 different firmware (Hong kong, Thaiwan and Asia pacific) for different regions. Select correct one based on your region.

Why the firmware file size changed from 1.6GB to 300MB? Something's not right here

Sorry to ask again , i already change the mainboard and like u said the board is blinking green and orange which means the board is ok but when i try to update its blinking white only for around 10 minutes and its blinking green and orange but this time there is a music appear but still no picture and when i saw your video the firmware only 300 mb , i think its an old firmware ,where can i get your firmware cause from the sony website firmware around 1.6 gb thank you

99% of the time it's the main board. I've had two different Sony Bravia models die after 6-7 years and changing the main board fixed them.
Do how did you get the firmware?
